Tomos 74cc Café Racer - Test Riding

2 жыл бұрынTomos 74cc 5-speed test drive. Had about 60km of fun and meanwhile it broke down several times... Nonetheless, the framework is straight and ready for paint. The engine is not tuned properly yet but will be when the paintwork is finished.

changed it several times. if I go any richer it will choke in 300m and won't start anymore

Gearbox broke because you didn't put the washer on the pyramid gear on front you put it behind the big gear. so it makes it have axial play in the gear. so it could break the block XD. oh and you can adjust clutch by the central nut behind the clutch cover tightening it will make it slip more losening it will make it grip more.

thanks for the tips! clutch slipped because it ripped apart and left only two plates to be engaged every time. clutch housing got destroyed due to the power. waiting on a cnc one now :)

@@Tomology No problem man ask anything you want about tomos engines i have a tomos ctx 80 that goes 120kmh you could say im a pro at this🤣

@@jov4n.milosavljevic24 yeah I'm new to these old shifter engines and there is not much info out there in the Netherlands but they for sure are fun to work with!

Is dit een Tomos revival frame? en zo ja, heeft een 4l blok dezelfde bevestigingspunten als een a35 blok en kan je het blok er dus onderhangen zonder enig laswerk of ander gedoe? En komen de tandwielen goed uit?

het is idd een revival frame maar verder moet je alles op maat maken want niks komt overeen

@@Tomology standaard koppeling kan max 10pk en 10,000 toeren aan. Wellicht slim om een versterkte koppeling aan te schaffen

hehe yeah first few drives went great! I guess the clutch slipped because I tightened the cable too much. I eventually got it running quite smoothly, didn't film it and something in the gearbox broke again and that's where I'm at right now :)

@@Tomology clutch basket you can find in Croatia from Pukac! That guy is producing a good stuf! I have one from him, price was 400 kunas (divide with 7.5 for one eurro). That guy have so many GOOD STUF for Tomos.😏
