You can not push your opponent out of bounds while in a submission as a way to get out/restart. You’ll get disqualified. There are cases where the proper defense leads out of bounds. In those cases 2 points are awarded (like toe holds).

If you attempt to defend a submission, and by natural movement go out of bounds, the attacker gets 2 points and the fight is reset in the middle standing in a neutral position. However In this case, Thalison was purposefully taking the fight out of bounds as an attempt to have the match reset, because he had no "real" escape. The referee knew this only amounted to "fleeing" the match, as no other attempt was made to actually defend. This is a technical foul in section 6.3.2 of the IBJJF rulebook: "When an athlete deliberately flees the match area to avoid submitting to a submission hold applied by his/her opponent"

Tá desatualizado, a ibjjf tem um curso de regras grátis no yt... saiu fazendo o movimento correto de defesa é 2 pro oponente, volta a luta em pé... de resto é DQ. Exemplo, oponente ataca chave de pé, vc defende girando e sai fora do tatame é 2, volta em pé... se vc se arrasta indo pra fora do tatame é DQ.
