We captured a human in order to ask for an explanation, but apparently this is "comedy". It is an activity humans use to generate positive emotion and response, or possibly just to ensure reproductive success by "getting it". Analysis suggests that comedy is a vital part of human "story-telling", the mechanism by which they communicate effective ideas to offspring. Whatever message this instance sends, their self-aware irrationality is *fascinating*.

it is extremely likely that oxygen would be extremely toxic to most extraterrestrial life. its super corrosive and has a tendency to mess up most forms of organic chemistry, it would probably be super deadly to most life forms out there. thats the way it used to be on earth too, until one microorganism developed tolerance to oxygen and then started *producing* it, killing >99% of life forms in the planet

That and the oxygen thing is probably a hint that the (in the story) creator of this is some kind of machine species or metal species. Since Robots don't need oxygen and are weak to magnetic fields. Considering that it was inspired by a post that referenced another post called "They're made of meat" which was written from the perspective of robots talking about Earth this seems likely.

Humans posess one other defining trait. And that is their curiosity, and lust for knowledge. If you give a human a rope with a knot tied in it, and give no other instructions, they will untie it. Or give them a problem or a puzzle, and they will try to solve it. On top of that they even get pleasure out of doing so. Humans are intelligent creatures. Not becouse they "know", but because they know HOW to know. Maybe their brains can't comprehend some concepts, but then, they can and will create MACHINES that do, or that could help them comprehend. Dont underestimate that part of them. Those are not just 'some' traits, those are very much so their most defining traits.
@daltonbecker4494
@daltonbecker4494 2 жыл бұрын
It's even worse: one human was one given a knot to untie, however they could not figure it out. So, the human simply cut the knot into pieces. If a human for one reason or another cannot solve a problem, they will destroy it.

humans also seem to be growing and learning exponentialy its unknown how many humans there are exactly but the learning part is known since we observed them they have created copper swords and it took them 4 times as long to get to iron swords then from those iron swords to nuclear bombs we predict they will have achieved ftl capabilaty within the next 150 galactic rotations once they have achieved ftl they will bring weapons since humans are violent as depicted in what they call ''tv series'' which are presumably future plans and historical documents they plan on putting plasma based lasers on all their vessels also expected new technology is terraforming expected to be achieved within the next 234 rotations once they achieve that any planet they land on will be theirs

As for my species, this is correct. The Protoss obtain their nutrients from the gaseous material around them. Furthermore, we have the Khalai Caste for collaboration. No, pandemics are entirely predictable. Like a splash of ink in a bathtub of water: You need to stir a lot for it to spread everywhere. Guess what fast international travel (airplanes) does to the human species. We could have had mostly seperate buckets that only occasionally mingle a bit and even then only slowly, but we decided that even though we haven't even visited any of our local museums we should go to the other side of the planet as often as possible to visit musea there.

mankind rules basically....were one nasty species that everyone wants to avoid and/or just avoid being known.Because once we hit space...well...the grimdark reality of 40k would be a picnic once we learn "hostile" lifeforms exist...not to mention its mankind's right to rule this massive amount of stars in our spiraling garden of mystery!

I love the idea that other life in the universe comes from stable environments, and views us as some sort of unstoppable monster species that can adapt to absolutely anything. The only thing you didn't mention that I found interesting was lifespan. Imagine a species born on a planet where hardly anything ever changed that was adapted perfectly to those specific conditions alone. A species with a lifespan of several thousand years. To them, a human war would happen in the blink of an eye, and before they knew what was happening we'd have won.

Adrenaline is one of Humanities strongest weapons. Our bodies litterally produce something that actively damaging to us, and it makes us temporarily unstoppable. We lose the ability to feel fear or pain, which are the 2 biggest things that stop us from acting in the moment, and gain a massive increase in strength and stamina as a last ditch effort for survival.

This seems like an extended trailer for the Deathworlders literary universe, wherein aliens realise how mind-bogglingly resilient humans are ("They can keep going after breaking a leg?!?" "They can survive in temperatures between -40 and +50 C?!?") and treat us as a threat potentially bigger than the current apex predator race of cyborgs. Who are pissed at these upstarts stealing their thunder. I highly recommend it.
