another thing that is really underrated with vpns is if you're streaming with your mobile data it bypasses the streaming limit that almost every company has in place. so even though it will say you can only watch 480p content with a vpn you can stream 4k as long as you have good coverage.

I have a question for the author of this video. I have a Tablo antenna DVR in my house that I opened up 2 ports to access it remotely. Do I need a VPN on this device so I can access it remotely safely? If I do how would I be able to set up a VPN in a way so I could access my TV recorder when I'm away from home? I bring this up based upon your commentary a little bit after the 6-minute point of your video. The only networking equipment I have in my house is the Gateway that Cox Communications issued to me to use with their Internet and home phone service. The Tablo DVR is directly hooked up one of the ethernet ports on the gateway.
