You are doing a complete transformation to this one! It was funny they had the control unit strapped down and then glued down as well, seems a bit much but there was no worries of it going anywhere!!You got a bunch done to it already and I am looking forward to seeing what it turns out like!

Good thing covering the void under the toolboxes. It was one of the first mods i did on my Pershing. It keeps mud and leaves from building up there and clogging the tracks.

The board in mine was only stuck down with tape. How bizarre. Loving your project so far!

Hi! I enjoyed that! And you do have an elevation and recoil port in the board, so you can convert the BB unit onto a recoil unit by getting rid of the bb motor and gearing (you chop the bottom off) and just use the bb plunger as the attachment to the barrel using an extension tube, and slap the servo on the side and use a linkage to the nipple (oh matron!) on the bb plunger top. Can’t believe they stuck the board in! Must have been quite a shock!! Great stuff as always! Very jealous, I want to crack on with my haya, but I’m stuck on the T-72 digital camo, what a pain in the bum! 😅

@@Pezzapoo the crack of doom! (If you know what I mean??😬) I haven’t done the bb unit recoil conversion, where you gut the unit, I’m a child that likes the BB function 😂 but it’s way easier than keeping it, and you then have a tone of space in the hull as it’s all in the turret. Theres a few vids from others on how to do that one. Looking forwards to seeing the progress

with some work you can put Heng long gearboxes in there, lot cheaper then the overpriced Tong De gearboxes, the plastic gearboxes have NO bearings in them.. not even bushings.| my M60 came with everything loose and partially disconnected so most stuff didn't work.. i will never buy a TongDe POS again.
