Replacement of driver's door lock actuator in a 2005 Toyota Highlander. I also show you a breakdown of the actuator in case you are only replacing the actuator motor. Actuator shown is listed as being for a Toyota Rav4 but it was a perfect match for my 05 Highlander.. ORIGINAL PROBLEM: Auto locks on both front doors were not working properly.. Driver's door lock had completely died while passenger side front auto lock worked intermittently.. Both could still be opened manually w/key.. Initially I replaced only the motors in both front locks and that was good for awhile.. Then driver's side died again and I replaced the actuator assembly as shown in video.. Passenger side front is still good after 3 years with only the $6 motor having been replaced..
