You pierced the vapour control barrier to screw that block on the stud...

Installing tuck tape over screw holes isn’t very good content. Thanks for your concerns

How do you nail it when wedge piece is in the way?

Put the wedge on the stud before the end

How to nail it now with that wood in the way if we hiding the nails????

Nail it on the stud before and it shouldn’t move. Then remove wedge and nail it

And then what? If you're blind nailing it, you're still not able to hold the board in place. You'd have to face nail this for sure.

Once the tongue is in all the way it stays pretty good. Pretty easy to hold it down while you remove the wedge.
