Hi! Perhaps you can help me. I had a tongue tie, and had 3 surgeries on it. The first one was just basically cutting it and sowing it up, without any exercises. Which wasn’t very successful. Second one was with a laser, this time with massaging the wound. Not sure how much it helped. The third time a dentist actually went into the tongue muscle, because the tongue tie was very big. It has given me some relief, however, I have no “tongue tip” and trying to roll my r’s has been difficult. It seems that the middle part of the tongue, or the front, I really don’t know, isn’t very well developed. I cannot point my tongue or move it up and down, then the whole tongue moves. My kids seem to have this same kind of tongue as well, even with a tongue tie release. I have never met anyone who has a tongue like this or a therapist who knows what this means. I have been told many times to just train the tongue, but so far, haven’t had any luck and no ones seems to understand. I would love your opinion!

Is everyone able to drop the center of their tongue with these exercises or only those with certain genetics to do so?

I have zero control with my tongue edge movements, I can only control the tip of my tongue going up or moving my whole tongue left or right. Can you list all the exercrises I need to do to fix my tongue movements? I have alot of tension in my head for multiple health reasons and I never got to develop my tongue muscles. I heard restoring muscles in tongue is one that can reduce my other head problems. Is it a good idea to try and lightly force my fingers to curve around the chopstick with tongue? I can force my tongue in U shape with my fingers, but I can't even get close to do a tongue suction. should i see a specialize for these problems?

Which type of doctor should i consult if i forgot how to swallow food? Please reply 🙏
