Look, I’m an American, Black female who was around 10 years old in the mid-90s. I’ve always loooooved me some Toni. I just heard this song today, because a beautiful Brazilian man sang it in a karaoke app, and I wanted to learn it to sing it with him 🤣🤣🤣 I don’t know how I missed this, but it sounds like it came from her Unbreak My Heart era. He also turned me onto Maria Bethania, but that’s a tale for another time. 😊

Wil do you see vibration or color when you listen to her sing? If you do with her or anyone else look up synesthesia. I have it. The lower register singing sets off the colors for me. I couldn't ever figure out why they did along with the color flashes. I only learned about it a few years ago. Now I'm finding people who can't explain why they love a singer so much most likely have it too.

This song is TIMELESS!! This one and Un-Break My Heart. She has this amazing vocal control where she can sing in a whisper and it still be powerful and beautifully melodic. She is a legend. I mean bonafide legend!! I have not heard another voice like hers.
