I get more positive about this game the more I hear, the Go bit took a big hit in confidence for me but if the points are easily farmable then I'll gladly say it's a "good" game

Edit: Why are you guys talking about him “coming back”? I asked for a statue of him in the mobile game. Ya know, like how they gave him a medal in Khux? Edit 2: I don’t want him to show up as a boss ya big goons, I want him to not be forgotten. As in, I want Terra or Namine or Sora or someone to mention him going forward.

I’m very glad that Nomura decided to include a mode that lets you play the game at home instead of having to go outside. I also hope we’ll get to level up the Keyblades like in Union Cross, because I want to see the different designs of Missing Link’s Keyblades like a Level 3 Ever After Keyblade.

Now, that I have a phone good enough to run something on, I now have a ticking time bomb that could explode in my face whenever I play this game. I feel like this is kinda reminiscent of that Star Ocean mobile game, I think. Granted that one is more on real time, while this seems like a less turn based Union X (if those 3D figurines of characters are anything to go by) and in 3D

I also wanted controller support. Chilling at home and going through the game on a tablet would be a nice experience.

I would love for Numura to one day do a 3D/ more regular KH style Union X remaster as a one player experience. Also, we NEED a 365/3 Days Remaster too

Don't 3D phone games take up a lot of storage? That's my big concern. I hope it gets ported to Switch. The Go functionality could be modified to reference Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort and Pilot Wings Resort.

I want to point out something that people may have missed. At the bottom of the trailer on the "Closed beta test in 2022" screen, you can see the copyright for Disney/Pixar, meaning that it's almost guaranteed we'll be getting some Pixar KH3 worlds in there. Either that, or maybe we're only getting Pixar characters as statues to use.

Random theory: We know Xehanort had a mom, so she had to have a mom/dad and so on. Only one other character with white/silver hair. What if Ephemer is Xehanort's direct ancestor just like Brain is theorized to very likely be Eraqus' ancestor (maybe even grandpa at this point)? It would be really cool if Eraqus and Xehanort as a duo's ancestors were also characters and good friends the whole time.

Nomura is a fucking god. Having this game I'll definitely be more inclined to go places a bit more often and I can check on the game every now and then whilst out. BUT the fact he knows not all players want to spend their lives outside walking around is a genuine blessing. How they monetize the teleporting will be important to keep tabs on because I'm sure it'll be time gated or limited in some way to incentivize you to spend money. Just the fact we have the choice is amazing though. I cant wait to teleport to different nations. Hopefully we get great post launch support with active events happening in different nations and maybe we can battle with foreign players and stuff like that. Imagine a limited time only Xehanort boss fight that's only available in Germany or something, we can do that! edit: Pretty interesting that it seems like the "trophies" will be acting similar to materia in ff7 or so. To this very day I play KH multiplayer on my DS with my bro. Kingdom Hearts 358/2, personally I'd consider that an official KH multiplayer experience. We simp for Organisation XIII so its a tradition of ours lol. I wish I could have played as Xemnas on a console though... my only hope now is if they remake 358/2 on day. A man can dream.

I cannot wait for this. Regardless of the small battlefield this game looks like it can be super exciting. Making my own character always appeals to me so that's a definite plus!! PLUS multiplayer modes!!! Nuff said. I hope to love this game just like all the others.

This idea if executed properly could be incredibly exciting, I liked the idea of Pokémon Go but I never really grew up with Pokémon and so I never really got into it, but having a tie to something such as Kingdom hearts will make the missing link experience an absolute blast

I am excited to play the game after watching this video. My only concern is how long will the servers last.. will it end when the story concludes like Union Cross or will it have a plot point that can help keep the servers stay alive even after the story ends..

Now then, this game is supposed to address all of the mysteries up until now? In KH there are SEVERAL unanswered questions that are mostly left stranded in the player's logical thinking when playing the games and absorbing the story as a whole across all the titles. For example, who determines each character's fate? Who placed Sora in Quadratum and why not somewhere else? How was Roxas able to appear physically to Sora in KH2? Where do Terra, Aqua and Ventus come from? Same question for all of the original characters whose origins are assumed, like Riku, Kairi and even Sora. How were life and worlds in and before the Age of Fairy Tales? These questions DO matter. It's the lack of these answers that make KH feel like an incomplete universe, not an incomplete story. I also understand some of these questions will be addressed within future installments while still not confirmed, like the Master of Masters' origins, why he is called that, and the darkness's true aspect, nature and power, and so many other things that I assume will be answered, such as when and how people like Ansem the Wise got in contact with the knowledge of the worlds, and why he started studying the heart. I could go on and on, but I think I made my point.

I am really looking forward to this game! I can't wait to get more information especially about signing up for the closed beta!

I'm overall excited for Missing Link, but there are some concerns that I and perhaps many others have. Aside from finally getting to know how it all connects and the details of what happened in betwene Union X and Dark Road, the overall gameplay is where i'm hesitant. It's great to know that there's 2 modes - the story quest mode and the exploration mode - and players have the choice to do what they're comfortable with. The exploration mode is similar to Pokemon Go, which is kinda cool, but raises questions and concerns about wifi issues (lagging, disconnecting, freezing, rendering quality dropped, multiplayer connectiions and lag to name a few). Since we know that players have the option to not leave their homes and still be able to explore using teleports, which would be unlocked by "points", i'm guessing that it'll require players to turn on their Location on their device when using Google Maps. That makes the most sense. I just wanted to bring that up in case no one has mentioned it already, and it also seemed assumed. Also should note that if you're willing to travel outside of your home, there may be less free wifi hotspots available and/or you may start to use cellular data. Nonetheless, stay safe while your off advernturing! Aside from that, there's also an concern about stroage and phone device capabilty. If you have the latest and newest phones available or thinking of upgrading by the time game is released, you may not have too much issues. However, if you're like me and have an older phone model (I have a Samsung Galaxy 8 and i doubt i'm going to updgrade anytime soon), would Missing Link be compatible? Prolly not because it may not be able to handle Unreal Engine graphics and gameplay. The same can be said for storage: how many GB will the game take up, including maintanence and content upgrades? Again, if you have the latest phones, you may not run into this issue. Of course, you also purchase more storage from the Apple store (if you have Apple), and/or insert an SD Card into Android phones, and/or buy/use cloud storage for Andoind phones (example: Samsung Cloud). Adjustable settings: I'm sure Square Enix would allow players to change their settings, escpecially for graphic quality. Though, I'm not sure what the graphics would looks like if it's like 30 fps. I can guess many players would want to EXP the best qualiity while gaming, but it may significantly drain your battery life, casue the phone to be very hot, and may slow down the overall device. Personally, and you're more than welcome to agree or disagree (don't be mean, please be civil), I'd want Missing Link to also be accessible for consol (PS4, PS5,Xbox), tablets, and PC while still being accessible as a mobile game. On the otherside, I would be happy if it became a full-fledged PC game. Imagine the amount of possibilities that the director and developers could input into the game, and imagine the possibilities that players can do. It would be available for Windows and Mac. How do you feel about it?

Actually, here in Brazil will not be matter of lazyness, but fear of stealing your cell phone in the middle of the street, here, people who played pokémon go had problems falling into dangerous places, since in Brazil everything is dangerous, even more so showing the cell phone to everyone, so I thank Nomura for not force us to walk to learn the story of yet another mobile game.

I'm concerned about a lot of things when it comes to this being a mobile phone game. Nevermind the gameplay aspects. I'm concerned about the performance and what kind of devices this will be playable on. I mean, look at those graphics. When I saw the trailer the first time, I assumed it was going to be for PS4, Xbox One and Switch, given how detailed and demanding the game actually looks. It seems like it runs on the KH3 engine, albeit tuned down in certain aspects to adjust to mobile platforms, but still a graphically demanding experience. Cutscenes themselves are so. On the other hand, as someone else in the comments stated, how much storage space will this game take up? Union X took around 2 or 3 GBs, and that was a 2D game. Yes, I know the final game could be even lower, because we still haven't seen it in its entirety, but both the storage and the minimum requirements aspects concern me. If you ask me, I would have been happy with this game being released as a full-fledged title on consoles instead of a mobile experience, as far as what we know about it.

I'd like to know which specific devices of iOS and Android it would support. I'm worried the iPhone X may be too old for these graphics.

If the control scheme ends up being a virtual Joystick and buttons, there's no excuse for an absence of controller support, especially since the game runs in landscape. It's not even a matter of practicality since there's plenty of practical telescopic gamepads available on the market and most people who care about gaming on mobile have one already

I love that the AR gameplay is an option. Cuz on one hand, I loved playing Pokemon Go as I walked from place to place. But on the other, there's plenty or times where I still wanna play, but don't want to, or simply can't, get out and about like that. So making the game playable in both ways, is perfect for me! And I'm almost positive that the gacha mechanics are gonna return, but if they aren't as expensive and stingy as UX, then I can deal with it.

A kingdom hearts Battle royal would be fun,drop in from a gigantic mickey head balloon, pick up random keyblades,some spells,a random summon from any of the KH worlds,elixers potions ethers,heartless romming around to destory to gain hearts for a special meter bar to do moves like sonic blade, then maybe every 5 mins spawn in a boss where people have to join up to beat it then after fight for the loot.and for the people that die get turned into a heartless until the last 14 players that can turn into a random orgianzation 13 member to kill remaining players.
