It’s good to hear about how the Foretellers are going to operate. We had hints of something like this in Organisation XIII in COM and KH2, but I reckon this time it would be more impactful. I wonder especially how Aced would behave; he seems to be the most skeptical of the Master’s plans so he might have a role similar to Axel in 2, or at the very least, be an antagonist who also fights the Master and other foretellers. Ira is probably gonna manipulate him a whole bunch too from the look of things if Union X’s movie is accurate but that’s just my two cents

Thank you for curating all this info from the 20th anniversary! The whole True Successors vs Non-Successors thing sounds really interesting. With Brain probably being an ancestor of Eraqus and being involved with a secret society of possible Non-Successors, it made me wonder if Brain and Ephemer will develop a rivalry like Eraqus and Xehanort. And maybe this means that Xehanort is a descendant of Ephemer (would explain the white hair?) and the True Successors.

So his appearance in quadratum is just like how his appearance changes from world to world to blend in, makes sense

Never a bad idea to hire a new writer onto a long series so long as they have a history of turning out good stuff, keeps things fresh and exciting especialy if they have their own unique style to add to it that the orignal writers might never have thought to try but would fit easily.

I believe Ava is in Quadratum, because in union x when she faces luxu and tells her his role she mentions seeking the MoM. In the epilogue, the reason why Luxu says i guess ava didnt make it after all and that she had her own mission and she carried it out - means he knew her OWN mission was to find MoM. So it makes sense how he summoned the foretellers but she didnt make it across as shes in Quad.

Happy to know Nomura considers overseas fans opinions as well. Please make tons of videos on why we need FF characters back in KH4!!

The Yozora reception thing seems like a mistranslation. The KH13 version has it where Nomura wasn't sure how Yozora would be received, and was pleasantly surprised when he was well-received by fans. There was nothing implying that fans initially disliked him.

Maybe I'm the last person to have noticed this, but maybe the Foretellers (now the Lost Masters) were always meant to become the villains. I mean, their names are literally the Seven Deadly Sins. IRA = WRATH GULA = GLUTTONY INVI = ENVY (that one's is obvious) ACED = SLOTH (from the italian word ACCIDIA that means SLOTH) AVA = AVARICE (anther easy one) LUXU = LUST (also from the italian word LUSSURIA that means LUST) That leaves PRIDE to the Master of Masters Maybe Nomura and gang will use these name origins to either hint at their motivations and character or at their powers and fighting style and use this to craft their boss fights.

Well remember Eraqus is a "Blueblood", a true descendant of the old masters. Maybe Missing Link will give info about him and maybe that is why he was chosen to succeed their master instead of Xehanort

In KH1 Genie said he heard something about a key hole 200/300 years ago so obviously not planned but thats kind of a fun coincidence.

Something I've heard from Japanese creatives is that the Japanese don't really understand the nuances of English when it comes to like.. "I hate this" meaning "I love this" So if people were saying Yozora was too hard or they hate it or his cheap or whatever, i'm sure some were being literal, but a lot of people who legit enjoy the fight would 'complain' about it. I think Nomura may have interpreted that as genuine dislike of the character and the fight. I know there are some artists from Japan who feel self-concious when someone who enjoys their art does the English "delete this" or "Thanks I hate it" sort of thing, because they think it's genuine criticism rather than a show of approval (yay language)

I'm going to be honest. I know that we probably won't receive the actual game until sometime next year, maybe the end of next year, maybe even the start of 2022. *But* I am already terrified of an experience similar to Kingdom Hearts 3, where all of the news, information and trailers revealed *way too much* of the game and made most of the really awesome and incredible cutscenes - less awesome and incredible. So, as crazy as it might sound, this is going to be the final video about KH4 that I am going to watch. All other videos of yours that are about our beloved upcoming game will be left in a separate folder for when the game finally releases. I'm sorry, but I feel this need very strongly, so much so even that I almost didn't click on this video. Ok so from seeing that verum rex trailer to reading all these confirmation comments from Nomura and team I am now 200% sure that VERUM REX is a real legit standalone game and we'll most probably see it after KH4 so yeah I am hyped as hell for VERUM REX and KH4.

I was wondering is the situation of KH3 kinda going to be flipped in the future with 13 warriors of lights vs 7 warriors is darknesses? Because marluxia (lauriam) and larxene (elrena) might have turned back into somebodys and now most likely is able to use their keyblade and we have lauriams sister strelitzia on our side so that would be 13 keyblade wielders. Idk if elrena would fight with them but I would assume lauriam since he was looking for his sister in the mobile game

Opposing forces doesn’t have to mean villainous. It’s been established in KHUX the villain is willful darknesses given a body. The foretellers will be red herring “villains” early in this new arc as we see it unfold. Also- it’s “lost master arc” not lost masterS. Not plural.

About halfway through I had an idea. Could quadratum be where all the khux characters who died went? Maybe the task wasnt to fight the darkness but to hold them at bay until they had a chance to slip out to another reality but sora changing the events meant to come brought on a change in the book. Or maybe the lost page that gula has depicted it would happen and no one else knew so they couldn't stop or join his side?

I’m concerned by all the talk about making it accessible for new people. That’s a good goal, but Kingdom Hearts 3 tried to accomplish it by resolving every pre-3 plot point in a long cutscene while Sora and co. fought their way through an endless Disney ad.

I know not everyone can finiancially afford it so maybe if they do have those kinda of features maybe have events similar to those so people can get figurines you might find in the parks if there are actually park exclusive figurines.

My official prediction, the Paopu legend is how Sora returns. Since he and Kairi shared Paopu at the end of KH3, then they're supposedly bound for eternity. So as long as Kairi's still alive, there's hope for Sora to return. I can just feel it. Kairi's gonna be Sora's waypoint. His guiding light. His door.

It'll be interesting to see what KH4 holds in store for us. I was getting a feeling that the Foretellers/Lost Masters will be antagonists this time around. I think that since there are 7 of them and we have 7 guardians, they're each going to fight one on one initially - except for Sora of course and Riku who's out looking for him, so I think those two will probably be replaced by Roxas and Xion in this instance. The Foretellers will probably be like how they were in UX Back Cover; all skeptical and all, thinking that these new so called "Guardians" are perpetrators of Darkness and so they need to be eradicated, but that's just my theory. I'm still curious to see as to how exactly they're going to execute it. As for Sora's story and how KH4 will start off, I still strongly believe this game won't just be centrally focused purely around Sora 's journey in Un-Reality alone. I think for the most part, we might probably get to play as Riku as well, at some point, looking for Sora, and that it'll be more like a dual character story kind of like CoM was, but this time like BBS, we'll probably get to choose who we want to play as; Sora or Riku. Anyways, I want to hear your thoughts on this. Let's get a discussion going.

Ok a completely irrelevant comment: I just remembered that in 2019 SE was hiring for a 'new original Triple A ip' and they described it as something big in the job listing and many articles also covered this topic and I legitimately thought that it's verum rex but now seeing Nomura's comment about him deciding between KH4 and verum rex confirms that it's not verum rex that were making so that brings me to the conclusion that probably verum rex will begin development after a year or two when KH4 has reached into heavy development and we'll probably hear those supposed 'rumours and leaks' about it in quite a few years but now the most mysterious thing is that what's the new ip that they building and it's not Forspoken cause luminous productions is subsidiary as CBU1 is the one that's making that new ip and I know for a fact that it's most probably not cancelled cause if u go on SE job hiring website and under CBU1 section it's still written there that are making an unannounced new ip so again I wanna know what's up with this game.

actually I really like that in kingdom hearts you need to know everything up until that point.. I kinda feel companies normally care too much about making sure people can play only the latest game while never feeling like they missed too much and this kinda ruined sequels for me for a long time in video games.. KH did the right thing compiling every entry into a pay-once package in the All In One Collection, so everyone can catch up very comfortablly.. I prefer this approach to what game devs usually do and hope this swill not change.. this is how it works with all media except ga,ing and I think this needs to change. no one is starting a series from the second season and then complains they don't understand too much things and not only minor stuff, it's obvious you need to watch from the begining and I think with gaming we got a bit spoiled like that.. a new arc = a new TV season for me, it needs to assume everything in the first arc is known and clear to those who start the new one (maybe put a video recapping the first arc but not much more is needed if indeed this is to be a second 'season' and BTW Melody of Memory was exactly that). if someone doesnt wanna put the time to playing all the games, that's reasonable and there are a lot of recap options to replace that need, nut I truly think pepole who start with the second 'season' should expect the need to do some work in order to understand what's going on.. it's good that there are easier ways for doing that now but that's supposed to be it.. and a bonus point (not a main one but still true) is that people who did the legwork to catch up get very much rewarded for that iin the form of understanding all of it, and to take that away and realize you could have just no bothered and waited for a second arc that tells you almost everything you need to know is kinda discouraging. I myself got into KH only after KH3 was out, and yes it was not the easiest thing to recap on' but with the collections it was simple, just needed to want it enough.. if someone doesnt want to get into something they know is in its second 'season' necause they wont understand, thats fine... i think SE had an amazing approach to the "starting point for new fans" thing whith the collections, and i hope not to see them switch to the "the last arc is not so relevant you can start with kh4 and all the previous ones are bonus if you wanna" kinda like the witvher 3 did, i played it without previous experience with the games and though i felt there was a lot of stuff that happend before that led to what im playing now that i dont know anything about, i didnt and still dont feel a need to go back in order to understand, cause what happened before isnt really that important.. today almost no one know the plot of the witcher and the witcher 2 and dont care either, and thats so unique about KH for me i dont want that to change, new people need a way to get in as easily as possible, but not at this cost.. tv would usually never do that and playing lots of games for one price compared to watching all previous seasons for one subscriptions is the same.. all relevant KH infornation is available and really really accesibe to eveyone playing everywhere. this should continue but also be the extent of "new player-friendly" approach

Hmmm this is interesting, we may not get news of kingdom hearts for a while, but does this mean we should expect news of the other big app game we’re waiting for? The app game I’m talking about is Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, the game that plans to do the whole FF7 franchise story that plays like FF7 but with remake graphics. There hasn’t been an update on that front and isn’t Nomura part of that team?

Is Kingdom Hearts Union X worth playing? Ive tried playing it a couple years ago but after 700 lvls and not much story progression I gave up

final fantasy 14 is one of the best written stories ever I will agree on that (having played through everything) If Yoshi P was involved in kingdom hearts in any way, I'd lose my shit. I would walk to the square enix HQ just to salute.

i think the only negative feedback about yozora was how painfully hard his fight was. outside of that there was nothing i saw negative.

I'm hoping that the different bloodlines represent those players who know all the lore of KH vs the players are newer to the game. That would be great for letting the hardcore base focus more on story progression rather than story learning.

The more I think about it, the more I don’t think either of the robed figures are MoM. Instead, I think they may be the former allies that MoM told Luxu weren’t important. Including the Master, it was likely a group of 7, and there just happens to be a group of 6 robed figures at the top of the clock tower on the KH3 cover.

I think it would make a lot of sense if Sora could convert some of the foretellers to his side at some point. Based on the chess board setup, it's just him against all of them, so I think it would make sense for him to basically take the pieces from the other side rather than just add pieces from outside of the game.

The big question is, which one will come first out of kingdom hearts 4 and final fantasy 7 remake part 2? That’s what I would love to know right now.

I am hoping for a pc release instead of being an console only release because I want to have this game in max settings.
