1000%!! Just played it for my 90 yr old mom (with dementia) and she was overwhelmed with emotion~ got very teary but absolutely loved it!! She was a professional pianist and was able to tell me afterwards, "Piano. Perfect!."!! RIP Mr. Bennett~ and Thank You for the many decades of music you graced us with ❤❤❤😇

Saw him in Buffalo recently. He's ninety and simply superb. As the story goes, when asked how it feels to be the greatest singer in the world, Frank replied, "Go ask Tony." Thank you Mr. Bennett for the hours and years of joy you have given us.

Uncle Tony, you're a National Treasure!! I've been so happy to introduce my eight year old granddaughter to your music! As for Bill Charlap, the best thing about an accompanist is knowing when not to play over a singer, and he is absolutely perfection!!

The definitive version he had already recorded of this song. But it is Tony, and each great song will always stand in a new, live in studio recorded, worthy interpretation. Just voice and piano, like in his highlight records with Bill Evans : brave, pure and a treat for those who love the essence of music ! Sure, Tony is an old man, but his craftsmanship remains, his diction is chrystal clear, he lives each word, line and note, his phrasing is original, he hits the notes, and he doesn't cover his face with his microphone, simply because he has the voice and technique not to need so. What a singer ...

In this performance, Tony Bennett is 89 years old and married to Susan Crow, who was 49 years of age at the time. Much of Tony's wondewrful enthusiasm for life and drive in his singing in these golden years of him must be attributed to her, don't you think so?

His voice is forever beautiful! He's been one of my favorite performers since I was a little girl and I saw him on the Ed Sullivan Show. This is for his biggest fan Margaret C who passed away this weekend at the age of 94. A beautiful lady whose eyes would light up when she heard Tony Bennett sing. I don't think I will ever be able to listen to him sing now without crying.
