Tony Hawk joins Dan and Gav to film a rare skate trick he’s only landed a handful times. See even more high-flying 4K tricks on The Super Slow Show, only on KZfaq.
Even more ridiculous when you realize he is older than 15.

You can tell how experienced he is by his slides. Yes, they often come after messing something up, but his failures are so graceful and fluid that it never comes off that he's in any danger of injuring himself. He makes a mistake but immediately regains control.

yeah exactly, every time he fails I'm expecting people to run to him see if he's ok but he's like nothing happened I'm cool!
@ifabforfun6 жыл бұрын
sliding like that is how you avoid hurting yourself after a bail, trying to use your feet is always a bad idea. That's why vert skaters wear such huge knee pads and pull their socks up over their shins to avoid "burning" them on the ramp. Also riding vert is probably the most painless type of skateboarding once you learn these slides and definitely why guys like Tony Hawk and Bob Burnquist are still doing it today. I never really skated a vert ramp but I mostly did mini ramp skating, ~6 foot half pipes :)
