Curious how whistling works, could slow motion help show that?

The last water droplet landed back on the needle, meaning it achieved enough energy in the process of losing energy to send a ridiculously small version of itself back to the starting position, that really interests me for some reason

I'm not sure the "air compression" explanation for the impact flash is accurate? A similar flash is observed in space when hypervelocity metallic debris collides.

If the concept was to have two bullets "impact" in flight, did you do any with just the bullet on the nail instead of the cartridge?

I took some long-exposure pics during a night storm, it's just insane. For a tiny fraction of time, everything is bright as broad daylight. Everything.

Need to do this again at a much lower exposure so we can see what happens when the bright flash occurs. Ideally, two of these cameras next to each other at different exposures.

So thAts what it is when the water in my sink turns into tiny super propelled droplets that disappear in half a second after zooming in all directions. It was pretty clear it has to do with surface tension somehow cause this works with half soapy water every time.
