I had a video game place, across the street from my high school, I would skip school, just to play the latest THPS. We would be there so often that my principal, would check the store, too try and catch us skipping. One time he came in and we all just jumped the counter, and ran out the back door . This dude chased us, like 8 blocks on foot, like a damn terminator, all the way too a mall.

$100 for the game (assuming $40) plus a deck (which normally costs like $50-$55) is a pretty solid deal. Definitely not nearly as dumb as some of the other "exclusive" packages we've seen in the last few years (cough cough, F76...)

THUG was still the shit though, but AW was my jam. I even liked Project 8 although I only had the PSP port of that game.

@@realviper1188 I am using a Hori Pokken Pad, which feels like a better PS1 Controller, with a slightly different layout, yet all the same keys as PS1. There are adapters to use the PS1 controller via USB, works on PC, not sure about consoles.

I spent A LOT of time on the build a park too. Full days lost creating those on PC. Also, I’m pretty happy S.K.A.T.E is back too. It’s little things like that I’ve been missing. I’m just happy Lagwagon is back on the soundtrack, so it’s already perfect for me. Any you’re right, that did impact my taste in music. My brother was in a hardcore punk band and was already listening to bands like that, but THSP was the first time I could actually listen to those songs.

Very appreciative of the effort they put in this. Way better than the last few releases, and will bring much needed nostalgia in a time like this. The only thing I don’t like is how weighty everything feels. I am playing a video game, I dont like that I can barely get off the ground mid combo

I know Pro Skater are classics... But Underground 1&2 for me were the golden days ❤️ the music, the gameplay, actually being able to dismount the skateboard haha the memories

a +3 DLC would be the cherry on the top of the cake. in the ps5 version the lighting could go on changing depending on the time of the day ;)

Oh hey guys, as for that Jack Black thing, he was in an interview with all the other OG THPS cast, so I'd say it's a little more than official that he's in the game in some capacity. ;)
