In a week that was great for wrestling as a whole, there was one loser this week and it was Tony Khan. What started out as him trying to hype up Dynamite and his Birthday, turned into taking endless shots at WWE and led to a 4 day Twitter Meltdown. You are the owner and CEO of a major wrestling company, be a professional. Maybe if Tony was an on-screen character, this might make sense, but we know he isn't. You have to really wonder what WBD and the AEW locker room are thinking right now. They can't be happy and if they are they are part of the problem. It makes sense when Punk said he was dealing with children, he also meant Tony. Someone needs to get him off Twitter and give him a PR guy. My two biggest takeaways from all of this, is Tony losing his mind because of an AI picture of Shawn as "Booker of the Year". which is clearly all Tony cares about, only a few hours before the ratings came out. Also, I've heard from massive AEW die-hards who lost faith in him and the company when he took shots at their idols, John Cena and the Undertaker. People talk about tribalism, and Tony is one of the very sources of this.

AEW's issue is that, at its core, it's an Indie Video Game product. The Elite are EVPs and that is the style of wrestling they promote. So, while you may have a Christian Cage here or there, the audience has to sift through all of that Indie Video Game stuff to get to those parts and they're growing tired of doing so. The Indie audience is limited. The broader audience doesn't want to see Cassidy and Penta no sell Canadian Destroyers back and forth.

The Undertaker has also made more animated Cameos that most other wrestlers out there and has mad respect not just in wrestling, but entertainment & Hollywood!

When you thought Khan could not get any worse, this latest string as of 17 October only makes it worse for him. You have to be pretty desperate to grasp at straws if you want to drag your own mother in your attempt to paint WWE as "the Great Satan of wrestling". I really do not want to paraphrase it here, but it is pretty disgusting with how he tried to spin it like WWE was responsible for causing stress to Ann Carlson Khan's (Tony's mother, and Shahid Khan's wife) recovery. A part of me is seriously wondering just how much is he buying into the hype from the AEW hardliner fans, cause that is something I expected to hear from a petty narcissist, than from the son of a multi-millionaire who had to literally scrape and claw his way into success.

A lot of people in the industry whether it be wrestlers, former wrestlers, wrestling podcasters, etc have alluded to Tony Khan doing coke. Personally I think he led a sheltered childhood and never developed any social skills other than playing with his wrestling dolls. And a few years ago when his Dad gave him the money to start AEW with he suddenly had “friends “. Never having friends before he gets excitable hence always trying to hug the wrestlers. I hate to think what would happen to him if he lost his virginity. An ambulance should be standing by in case he gets so excited he has a heart attack.

Perception is everything you recently signed Edge a month ago and literally hasn’t drawn any new viewers or increased ticket sales. WWE is gonna stick it to AEW when possible it’s what they do.
