You can see in the movie that Sheeran expected to be killed when he refused to let Sally Bugs sit behind him in the car on the way to pick up Hoffa. This scene is why earlier in the film we saw Bugs garrote another man from behind while riding in a car.

I don’t know who fuckin’ did; I’m just not convinced. Seems like a last-ditch effort to leave some money behind for his family. Maybe we’ll never know; all I can say is that I loved the film.

I dont believe Frank himself pulled the trigger. I think he brought Hoffa to the house, made sure he felt safe. And that is why he blames himself for the murder. He did not want to name names of anyone still alive in the book, so he said he pulled the trigger himself. He wrote a tell-all book to be able to leave some money to his estranged family without being a snitch by putting the blame on himself for couple of high profile murders.

The feds noting the meeting that Sheeran describes in his book and the fact the feds put him, buffalino in Detroit for the wedding and put Sally Bugs there all really support Sheeran. What was he meeting with Salerno about if not that? Sheeran wasnt really in the mob had he been accompanying Buffalino he wouldnt have sat with them and been part of the discussion. It had to be something very important and that he took part in directly, something Buffalino couldnt just pass along but something Sheeran needed to be there for and answer any questions as well as feel him out. He was Hoffa best friend.

In the movie, Frank was the trigger man in the Crazy Joey Gallo hit in Umberto's Clam House in NYC back in 1972... There are quite a few claims that none of that was true...

If Detroit did the hit independently of an ok from the Genovese family then there is no way in hell Detroit would allow Hoffa's body to be shipped in a drum to the Moscato brothers dump in New Jersey. It would never happen, however if Tony Pro people did the work in Detroit then they could do what they want with Hoffa's body.. according to people in the know, Sally Bugs did the hit and Tony Pro hated Hoffa so much that he insisted on seeing his dead body and that's why Hoffa is supposedly buried in a steel drum under the Pulaski Skyway bridge St the Moscato brothers dump. For those who don't know, sally bugs,tony pro and the Andretta brothers were part of the hit team that was in Detroit when Hoffa disappeared. Dan Moldea who wrote the Hoffa wars insists that Hoffa was indeed buried in Jersey at the Moscato Brothers dump. The FBI is supposed to dig up the site this summer,if they havent already done it. I guess we will find out but if it is buried there it might be the first time in history a mobster buried a body 600 miles from where it took place. It's far fetched and goes against all protocol for a hit! However ,Tony Pro hated Hoffa so much that there is a chance he insisted on seeing his body , especially if he gave the green light after getting the ok from Genovese boss fat tony Salerno.

I actually believe him, he didn't seem like the most selfless person, he was a drunk, he was probably barely around his family so I don't see that being a motive. He's listed in all the FBI's reports as a suspect, he was in Detroit when it happened, he was close to and trusted by Hoffa, the house be said it happened in had blood stains under the floorboards leading from the front door to the kitchen, too old to get a good l DNA sample from, what are the odds he picked a house at random that had blood stains? Him Sally bugs tony pro buffalino and Tony salarno were seen meeting together days after Hoffa dissapeared. I really don't understand why people are so convinced he's a liar, maybe they want the mystery to continue, but he is the real deal, he was involved with all the players and with the evidence it's certainly not as outlandish as people are saying.
