That’s respect man. Mike is such a beast that it can be forgotten that he came up watching these cats. Tony wasn’t bout to just let him get the chop though 😂 gotta keep some chops sacred ha!

to Crash Smash: Tony Royster has been the best for years. He lived through the hype of many drummers. Tony sits back and lets other drummers gain publicity and hype, then he comes out and dominates. Many drummers have come and gone (Thomas Pridgen, Aaron Spears, Jojo Mayer, Chris Dave, Mike Mangini, Chris Coleman, etc) but Tony Roast-ya remains on top.

@@oscarportnoy1067 I think you need to check out a Dillon Elise clip, than come back and tell me that. Besides speed is not the determining factor in deciding who is most talented . And Dillon is just as fast as either Tony or Mike. I use more notes than even Tony or Mick more often then not . But that does not make me faster or a better musician because of it. And by a long shot.
