Gergo lost a beat somewhere in his trade at 3:38 and flipped the snare to be on the wrong beat when he was holding it down lol he also started crashing a beat early for the next several phrases! Eric still knew where the downbeat was supposed to be and kept it in the right place until Gergo figured it out and crashed in the right spot at 4:40. Even when he was 'out', he was still super solid. Plus his transition to get back on the right beat was sweet.

Yoo guys thats actually my recording. The story behind is kinda crazy. So summer 2022 there was a jazz festival in Kraków Poland where I live. The special guest that year was Kenny Garett. I decided not to go because at that time I spend too much money on concerts. Two days before Kenny’s concert I had an Opportunity to sit on drums at the jam in harris piano jazz bar where the video is from, got to sit with the very great cats from Spain Jesus Bachiller „Bachi” on bass and Pere Navarro piano/trumpet David bao their drummer came later. After we played they said they are playing their show at the club in two days so I decided to come to their show because it was cheaper than kenny obviously. So the concert day I went on IG and I see IG live by David Bao from the Kennys concert. They went to see Kenny before playing their stuff and on the live I could see Ron Bruner was playing drums at that time I didnt know Ron was playing for Kenny. So i instantly went to the venue they were playing late AF but who cares maybe after the show I will have a chance to talk to them I didnt have my ticket too but I managed to convince ticket lady to let me in idk how but I got there and their played insanee. Sooo after the show I came up to talk to Ron and he said that they have a flight at like 3am or something and if I know if there is any good shows in Krakow happening that night. Sooo I was so happy that I could tell him about the guys from spain that they are playing rn in the main square at Harris bar. He said he would come aaaaanddd he did with corcoran holt bassist and Keith brown pianist! They came after spanish guys ended their show so ppl left but Ron with all of his energy maaan this guy is so energetic told them to play two song for them so they played they were sooo killing maaan probably best music you could hear in Poland that night sooo fresh best concert I could invite Ron to see. Later Ron and Keith sit in with them and played some. In the video you see keith on piano, Ron on drums, pere on trumpet and Jesus on bass playing butterfly by herbie hancock. The energy was sooo high man and very few ppl was in the club! It felt like the best thing in life everything happen so fast and the events were timed perfectly! Later Spanish guys went upstairs for some air but Ron, Corcoran and Keith stayed in the club with me and were wishing to answer all my questions even stupid ones. For example at some point ron asked me if I know The supremes and at that time I couldnt remember obviously I know their songs but I didnt know the band name and Ron looked at me like I was crazy he said „so you dont know them..” and he almost got mad at me he was so high energy he like started shouting or something Haha nice thing that corcoran or keith I cant remeber decided to step in and calm him down . He told some stories deep shit man about jazz in general and what it meant to be good for him why you need to be great when you come from the place like him why if you want to be good you have to come to US and play both at east and west side. The guy was wishing to talk to me for that long it was so amazing. Yeah so thats the story haha

It would be interesting to see this guy playing/soloing in other contexts. Is it always fast/loud - or is there different musical stuff going on in different circumstances? Honest question, as I don't know this player very well...
