The freezing rain from two days ago is still persistent. The ice on the tails of Coal Tits remains unmelted. It's so cold that some Coal Tits are standing on one leg. Hoping for warmth to come soon...

These videos are so interesting for me to see, im in north east usa, almost as far away from japan and yet my local state bird is the black capped chickadee. A close relative of this little cute ball. Very far away but so similar!

枝が氷のポッキー状になる雨氷。太陽の光でキラキラと輝いて戸手も綺麗なんですよね🤩 チビッ子ヒガラさん足が冷たいね💦 可愛くてずっと見ていたい❣️
