TOO COOL !!! FORMULA 1 (F1) GRAND PRIX MICRO RC RACING CARS

Fantastic to have the opportunity to film these awesome RC F1 cars racing at the Cotswold Model Car Club track. It obviously takes skill and practice to get around this track and the conditions were a bit slippery due to rain overnight and the wind certainly did not help. Thanks to Cotswold MCC for their hospitality on the day.
Filmed by Dom Mitchell at the Cotswold MCC track using the Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder.

That would be dope if the had FPV cameras on there cars, so it would be a bit like drone racing 🏁

I think it would be kinda hard to see anything since the camera would be so low on the ground, you wouldn't see any corners coming

These are too small for good FPV. I'm going to convert a larger open wheel RC car for DJI FPV in the very near future for some track racing.

Hey guys! first off, great video. thanks for sharing. I am just now (literally) getting into RC F1, got my first F1 car yesterday. Coming from the crawler world, our setups are completely different. I know of the crawler world do's and dont's as well as good products and upgrades. Not sur eof anything for the speed/race side of things. Whats some good setups to look into? motor, trans, steering/suspension, wheels/tires combo, etc... Thanks for any guidance

The top speed on the straight is about 30mph.. The RPM's vary depending on gear selection on the day.. Just look up 1/10th scale racing for more information...

The wings and bodies are fairly representative of the real cars, as best as they can be at that size without being too fragile.

I don't know where you get that from. Most of the drivers use pistol grip style transmitters. This was at a rc car club in England.
