Jamaican ska from the 60's by far destroys anything from Britain.

A lot of “British “ ska was made by Jamaican expats living in the UK. Entire genres of reggae and dub were being formed in both places. Look at the line up of musicians on some of these records. The actual history of it is not as separate as it seems. :)
