Are You Too Scared To Trim/ Prune Your Adenium? Only If You Could See The Upside #Adenium #Prune #Trim #Bloom #Caudex I have had questions like- Is it absolutely necessary to trim an Adenium? Is there an alternate to pruning? How can I grow a thicker Caudex without cutting off branches on my Adenium? Well, fair and valid questions and there’s only one answer to all these questions- Yes, it is always a great idea to trim and prune, not just Adenium but all the plants, once in a while to keep them in a gunning shape and health. And to support my answer, here, have a look, at what happens after that prune and trim…………. Hey Plant Lover! How you doinnnnnn!!! No point in me saying the video is interesting, you watch and decide, and then make sure you let me know in the comments. Well, first up let us know, to successfully trim and shaping your houseplants doesn’t require anything more than a good, clean pair of gardening shears or scissors and some general knowledge of how plants work. So stay tuned and as you go along, pause the video to post your thoughts, questions, or feedback, and yes, subscribe and press the notification bell. Thank you, let us start today’s short journey…..Pruning and cutting away leaves, stems, and branches - in most cases - doesn’t harm your plant. In fact, it’s healthy to do this every now and then. Plants will benefit from a good trimming the most during spring and summer, which are their active growing seasons. Trimming can be done to both vines and trees to encourage new, fuller growth along with the plants, as well as to get rid of any yellowing or dead sections. Whether you’re wanting to maintain a certain size, encourage branching, or achieve a certain look, pruning is one of the best ways to gain control over how your plant is growing. It helps keep pests and diseases away. It prevents your plants from getting too sparse. It allows your plants to retain a shape and size suitable for according to your garden space needs. Trimming or plucking away yellowing or dead leaves is an easy way to help prevent any unwelcome plant pests from settling onto your plant, which are attracted to decaying or dead leaves more than healthy ones, and they are more likely to appear on a struggling plant. Pruning is also a great way to thin them out a bit. Not only does this make them more visually attractive, but it also improves airflow between leaves and branches, leading to an overall healthier plant. Encourage branching by trimming off the topmost point of growth. Doing this will force your plant to branch out from the sides of where you cut, rather than continuing to grow directly upwards. You may be left wondering what to do with any branches, vines, or stems you’ve cut away from your plants. To preserve all parts of your plant, you can usually propagate them by sticking them directly into water or soil. I got myself a baby desert rose(its about 8in tall, base is about 1.5in & tapers to about .5in at the top) for my bday just a couple weeks ago & im excited to do all of these things from your videos to help it grow & branch out more! This one was the only one that had 3 lil 'nub' branches growing close to the base instead of just a single like all the others available. I'm fairly new at gardening so I'm definitely paying attention to all your videos (yes im for sure subscribing to your channel!), any advice is absolutely welcome!

I would say even a gap of 10 days between watering would be fine with these plants. Known as Desert Roses as well; so in terms of survival, given extreme drought conditions, they come out at the top every single time. Minimum care, maximum output 🌷💕 that’s what Adeniums represent. So yes, by all means just start an Adenium at your farm and then see it go without any fuss 🤗🤗 Thank you so much for the comment and I am glad that you have been enjoying the videos. Well, your doubts are in place and that's something true for most of us, we all have had such dilemmas at one point in time. However as I mentioned in the video, trimming and pruning are absolutely necessary for plants, to make sure they are in great health and shape. In fact, plants love these processes, of course, if done in the right manner, they would help your plant in ways that you cannot even fathom. I can assure you, that these processes are harmless, especially when it comes to hardy plants like Adenium 🙌👍 So if your Adenium is more than 3 years old, by all means, please go ahead and give it a good trim or prune, depending on what you expect from the said plant. And keep Cinnamon Powder handy for ants or any other pest. If there is anything else, please let me know and we can discuss some more on this topic.
