Do you know what gets me? It's that their first-ever performance on an award show was not in the show itself but on the red carpet before the actual program because they weren't popular enough. And now? They're performing on a red carpet as one of the most anticipated stages on a global award show that they won 4 categories on. I'm sure they didn't plan that but man, just to see how far they've grown is heartwarming.

This is my first time watching. I was at a birthday party that I couldn't get away from last evening. Thankfully I had it recorded on my DVR. It was fun watching with you for the first time. All the ooh-ing and ahh'ing, I'm there with you. Yes they all looked so good, dancing amazing. But I especially liked V and Jimin dancing and harmonizing together. But J Hope's dance break was like an absolute ray of sunshine! Loved it! Loved your reaction. Will have to have my own this evening, when I get home. Thanks for this.💜💜💜

Billboard awards showed more respect to the guys than the other one did. They seemed to have fun with this as well. I like that you pointed out how they only had the beat to back them in the opening verses. The dance break omg so good so smooth. This is definitely going to be exciting choreo to see over and over. Dynamite had 35 completely different stages. Just imagine Butter.

It’s kinda crazy bc I really think all the vocalists have improved so much since the last time we got to see them live and making new music…. It’s crazy how they’ve been so powerful and just sounding absolutely insane… so proud of our boys…. Also the rappers of course adding that extra layer of texture to the song just makes me happy… jungkooks vocals have grown so much when he was already so friggin good…. He’s just improved in everything and Im just proud of this guy and he’s just absolutely slaying… all of bts is just dominating and I’m so glad to see it 💜

Hi Hanna, I live in Italy and woke up at 5.20 this morning to find this great performance waiting for me. Everything was so classy and perfect (only I wish in some parts the lighting were stronger). My face at the dance break was a replica of yours. J-hope is my bias too and he kills it in Butter. He shows us his more manly side and the dancing is unbelievable. I have a 12-year-old daughter who got me into K-pop but is more of a female group enthusiast. I showed her the Butter MV without ever having discussed biases or having told her who mine was (I was a little embarrassed, to be honest, at my age...). After two run throughs she put her finger on one of the members and said: "He's my favorite". It was J-Hope! She's been dancing for six years and told me she recognized the best dancer in him right away. Wait till she sees this dance break...

This first performance of Butter was amazing, they sounded amazing, they looked amazing and the set design and staging keeps getting better for their live performances. It was so cool how they went from a rehearsal space, to the step and repeat, the red carpet and finally the main stage. The vocals and choreo were so great live, I did notice Jimin's adlibs here and the dance break was a nice surprise kicking off with dance king J-Hope but they all got to show off their moves, I really love this more mature vibe they've got going on for Butter, they are killing it and on their way to further cement their world domination! 🧈💜👑

Just watched BTS on The One Show on the BBC being interviewed by one of the old guard, Ronan Keating. Just like in their Billboard Performance they looked stunning. I’m sure that The Grammys are feeling a bit sick that they didn’t give them the award they deserved yet BILLBOARD gave them FOUR awards. I love that Butter mentions some of the things individual members are known for. My favourite line is V’s, ‘Owe it all to my mother’. Then they mention ARMY and bring us all into their hearts. They knocked it out of the park. Now, we need another huge production number like, ‘ON’ which really shows what they’re about.

BTS said about Butter 'it is cute'. K media said 'it's a confession of love'... WHERE??? I don't think slow grinding of hips, sheer shirt, chest are consider cute or gesture of love... But on a serious note, the song is about BTS's confidence as 'superstar' and the performance is dripping with magnatism, charm, stunning sex appeal and absolute confidence... And I LOVE IT.

Hi Hanna. I totally agree with your reaction. I was also mesmerized by their performance. It was so great and I can't get over it yet. By the way, they won 4 awards in BBMA (nominated in 4 categories)... On top of that, Butter beat the record of Dynamite (record holder in 2020) in the number of views on KZfaq (first hour and 24hours)... There's so much to be happy about.
