Before the race started, I was thinking "hmm that B16 is only making 77kw, it could be closer than you'd think" but as it progressed I was getting suspicious about the lack of revs coming from that EK. I was wondering if he was holding back on purpose or actually just not driving it properly.

Been a while since I've had any time to follow mcm so I had no knowledge of the powerlevel of the frog, but until that 3rd lap it didn't really compute that they matched up so well. 3rd lap seemed a lot more familiar though 👍

I am one of the biggest fans of your show and I flew all the way to the Middle East to Australia I was hopping to cross path with you guys and the day you guys posted a photo of surfer paddies I went down the hotel and started walking around all over surfer paradise just to see you guys and stayed for hours going around but without any luck . From 2001 onwards, the Civics went to MacPherson struts. The previous gens had double wishbones. The Green one never had a chance

Even if it was tuned properly the track was way to tight. If it was the other track than maybe. A turbo d serier is much faster than a b16a.

Strut technology has come very far. The fastest fwd cars within the last two decades on the Nurburgring run struts. Tyres and weight are other factors to consider.

Struts can be just as fast as wishbones if set up properly.

Nothing to do with the type of suspension, just the fact that it's a poorly built, worn out POS that's carrying a bunch of extra weight. The same platform with the same suspension design (McPherson struts and multi-link rear) is used on the CTR EP3 and they were hardly poor handling cars. Properly built it could be easily quicker, but the EK would still be the more desirable car IMO.

Loved that video with all the style. The green Civic is so out of fashion it is nearly cool again. In a world full of speed cameras, limits, pot holes and speed bumps. I am surprised the slower cruise, pose, show off style cars haven’t come back. Would love to see an episode where they made a 2021 version of the max power style car. Over here it is all OEM+ and pop and bang remaps unless you have got a low rider in which case they go wild still.

Hey. Been following your account for 5 years now. You guys inspired me and taught me so much about cars and customizing them and I'm very grateful for that. I customized my first car in the same spirit, but now I have to sell it, because I'm moving to Canada to study. I'd probably have to ride busses for a few years till I get back up on my feet, but your videos give me the same joy as if I'm working on my own car again. I would really love to have your poster, to hang it in my new apartment and boast it to my friends. If you guys think I'm worthy I'd be high up in the clouds!
