This version works a lot better than the album version in my opinion. Its more raw, but also more open sounding, the instruments breathe more and the arrangement is more straightforward, short and sweet. Less is more

The age of mehit 12,800 years ago. The end of their civilization, like a premonition to the end of ours. It's no coincidence they had a pyramid on the backdrop of when they first debuted the song live in the summer of 2019.

The fact that if that leaked track list for the next album is for real (which i doubt) means that this song is about 14 minutes long in total and that makes me disproportionately excited also, side note, for some reason hearing that tabla sample thing Danny uses in Right In Two in this song as well makes me reeeaaalll happy, and that echo-y clap sound he uses just before that sounds real cool too.

Celeste Dubay I love how long g and mellow dramatic the song is, because when it kicks in to overdrive its amazing! you just need to zone out. Danny is a beast at drums. I find him and Justin as a perfect match. Adam is the one one out that creates a different mood set I find

my brother and I saw them in Boise this last Sunday, it was my first time seeing them. when the giant black pyramid came on the screen and this song started I was completely blown away. been trying to find out what the song was and I finally did thanks to this! sent it to my brother, the video is fantastic

Just saw them play this in Vancouver last night. They played a longer version that was amazing, everyone went crazy. It transitions into something much heavier. It sounded great! Super stoked for new Tool now.

i reckon aenima is the no.1 album humanity has produced so far. i wasnt a huge fan of any other tool album, just some random songs here and there, but this does sound like this song and maybe album will be good.

what i took from this is the event in which a form of cognizant being is birthed through a rare form of nova, maybe the death of a quark star, (a mega-nova?) so violent that it can create an exotic, yet short form of life. if so, this video may have shown events lasting only a few seconds. or was in real time to be a few minutes. a godlike form of consciousness
