💖 those last words! 💖 If these guys knew how MUCH the lessons found in their lyrics actually help one's soul, they would know that for some select few who are willing to look through the veil that they have the Light. The shared knowedge DOES work. I was in a very dark time when the message of 46 and 2 truly hit me and lead me to do shadow work. This is not an easy thing to do, but releases past traumas and heals you quite nicely. It was honest proof of the power behind the messages that Tool shares. Namaste 🙏

Blackscorpion1963 U mean aleister was unprepared ? I don't doubt it. Although I do believe you meant to say the opposite. But I really don't care for that black mumbo jumbo symbolism. Its just that, symbolism, taken with the arrogance of someone who fancies himself quite the wizard. Far stronger things lie in the silence of ones mind.
@xmoebiusaeternax
@xmoebiusaeternax 10 жыл бұрын
I get the feeling that you've never read the works of Crowley or his contemporaries, for if you had you would realize that determining one's true will is the first step toward causing change to occur in conformity with will. That is to say that you must first “look into the silence of your mind” before you can accomplish any of the goals most seek to accomplish when studying the Occult. Those with an unhealthy obsession with fantasy fiction, or those who seek to become "quite the wizard" should probably look elsewhere. That sort of New Age "mumbo jumbo" couldn't be further from what Crowley taught, although it has often been twisted to that end. If anything, Crowley taught nonconformity, with the hopes of freeing mankind from the artificially constructed systems of morality provided by most religions. To be honest, I don't agree with Crowley on a lot of things, but I also would not be so quick to shrug him off as a mere charlatan.
@Blackscorpion1963
@Blackscorpion1963 10 жыл бұрын
Miguel Baptista No not Crowley, I only have total respect for Crowley. Rather I mean anyone, Joe Average. One must know precisely how to silence the mind. And believe me when I say it is NOT through experimentation.
@Blackscorpion1963
@Blackscorpion1963 10 жыл бұрын
***** I've read some admittedly. I don't think one has to read everything rather it is more about sifting through and identifying his most influential writings. As I wrote in replying to Miguel Baptisa and I cannot repeat more intently; one must know precisely how to silence the mind and it is NOT through experimentation. I certainly don't consider Crowley as a mere charlatan. On the contrary. Though when one chooses to 'open the door' in ones mind (anyone), then one better be prepared for the unprepared.

I love the song Invincible, the way he references a Similarity between ones own pride with a Spartan's Pride in the Line " Now the armor's wearing thin, Heavy shield down". Tai-Chi Cuan is amazing. I grew up in a (very) Christian household and lemme tell you, giving yourself space to open your body's channels and resonate with reality is a fuck of a lot nicer on the soul than hearing that you're a sinner all the time at church =)
@boredhousewifelife
@boredhousewifelife 10 жыл бұрын
Wrong church. I am a follower of Christ. I don't go to church. Why? Because I live in the deep south, and I completely disagree with who they try to make Jesus Christ to be. Most of what they say is just their interpretation of the Bible. Most believe in a pre-tribulation rapture for Christians (who are ACTUALLY living it), which is not biblical in the slightest. In fact, there are LOTS of times that Jesus warned about how bad it would be for His followers. I won't get into it anymore than that. I'm not here to talk you into being a Christian, or preach at you or anyone else. I just hope you take the time to read the Bible yourself, and then make up your mind. Because unfortunately most self proclaimed Christians don't live their lives like Jesus taught at all!
@thedarkener
@thedarkener 10 жыл бұрын
The basis of Christianity is that everyone is a sinner by default, and you must believe in Jesus as the son of God to go to Heaven. Tell me, which Christian church does not follow that fundamental rule of Christianity?
@boredhousewifelife
@boredhousewifelife 10 жыл бұрын
Did you read the whole comment? I don't go to church. So I can't answer that question for you. I'm just trying to say, in short, church is not what being a Christian is about.
@thedarkener
@thedarkener 10 жыл бұрын
It's more than church/no church. According to the Bible, Man is born a sinner and must ask for forgiveness to be accepted as a Christian and go to Heaven. I don't like being labeled as someone I know I am not, and I also don't like being forced to accept something external to myself as the source of my strength and spirit just so that when I die I don't suffer in eternal damnation. Everything in this reality is God. You, me, my desk lamp, the homeless person asking for change at the post office... There is no external source because we all harness the light together as one.

Jesus' words at matthew 23:13 and luke 11:52 do not match that theology. They only make sense if he is saying the kingdom of heaven is on earth now and people enter alive with a key of knowledge.

Keenan means 'one who keens' (keening is the ritual wailing for the dead) and usually referred to the Banshee, who were wailing women at funerals, paid to wail and Carey 'Caer' means tomb and 'ri' means royal in the old tongue of Ireland, so basically a Death Priest and a Royal Tomb Builder
@kieranflanagan4603
@kieranflanagan4603 2 жыл бұрын
was wrong in that, been told Carey is Ciarr ri and means 'royal stag' and refers to the bloodline of Cernunnos (Ciarr Na Nos in gaelic) in ancient Ireland. Cernunnos of the Tengri ('Middle Kings') is also known as Moloch ('Not an animal') the Blood Drinker , Lushifar ('Shining Man of the Shee'), Luki ('Shining Soul' usually mispronounced as Loki), Neboth (dont know what that means) Father of the Djinn, Nababa ('The Water of Waters') Father of the KaRi, The Horned God, The Green Man, The Devil and Yahweh (by the Phoenicians). Incidently Yahweh YHWH is Y: 'KaRi feathered-serpent' pictogram, H: 'fence/barrier' pictogram, W : 'Shee' pictogram, H: 'fence' pictogram. so YHWH is pronounced 'Kahree Bakayen Shee Bakayen' and translates from the Mother Tongue as 'Royal Serpent, Water-serpent Lord, Holy-One, Water-serpent Lord'. McGary, Keenan and Kerwyn are the 3 bloodlines of Arawn in Ireland. Arawn the death god is also called B'olg, Ares, Aru of the Morri ('Big kings'), Ari, Arius, Hades, Enlil, The White Stag, The White Wolf, The Horned Wolf, The Dark Hunter, The Horned Hunter, The Wendigo ( in Mother Tongue: Wen (wyn in gaelic) - 'white', Di (dia in gaelic) - 'god', Gu (cu in gaelic) - 'warrior/hound/wolf').

It can be quite hard to attain a space that Maynard refers to. I used to have a space where I could say, play, write, sing and draw anything. Now I have to worry about neighbors, or people yelling "you suck." Things like that can really destroy your creativity and your actual creative spirit. I am actively looking for a new space. I can relate. I did move away to a better apartment, I'm living in it right now. If moving seems out of the question, go to the library, the beach, the park, the woods, inside your car off the side of the road, anywhere. Find a peaceful place, go and get it. After a few times, you crave going back because being at home sucks. Keep going to that place, keep the energy strong. Feeling like shit is a horrible waste of ones life.

The problem is, he waxes lyrical most the time and does not adress basic concerns. He's grown more humble over the years, maybe. Or tried. Indicated by his autobiography, too. When this interview was taken, he really revelled in the attention on stage. Since then he's become repulsed by the adoration directed at him as undeserved... people worshipping an idol rather than thinking and experiencing for themselves. Reading too much into the lyrics, intellectualizing... He's not a prophet, just a rock singer writing 'little poems'. It's a good perspective to have, I think... to keep the ego from getting out of hand, and to encourage others to pull their heads out of his ass and think for themselves.

I really am interested in the occult but I am hesitant to go any further than just general cultural and historical knowledge of it. I had had a handful of strange things happen to me, but never had had the roof of my head ripped open. I sometimes want to experience something, and will go to the lengths of trying to reach a magical mental state, but then I remember that you should be careful with what you wish for. This far, I am happy with the few synchronicities I have had, not sure if I want enything more than that.

It’s the systematic dismantling of the soul. Don’t do it. You never actually reach “enlightenment” for that path is never ending. You’ll never be satisfied, just like Crowley. If he couldn’t handle such “sublime” wisdom, why does anyone think they can?

Overthinking will be the death of us, the world is so simple we make it so hard with our minds. I wish this shit existed but it doesn't it would make life cooler or more interesting but it's not. That might be what's making you depressed Is how simple and how wrong we are about this type of stuff, those spiritual experiences you feel are you convincing your mind the world isn't what it is. That's not particularly good because that means your too stupid. I can feel spiritual from a shroom or dmt trip I know that feeling you speak of everyone in the entire world feels it and it makes us think theirs more but theirs not. Not one person in the entire world has ever in the history of earth proven otherwise. Pretty sure dinosaurs didn't use black magic from the occult either lol

There is good and there is evil. If you open yourself up to and delve into evil, it will open itself up to you and possibly into you.
@kennysoriginalmusicchannel5916

I agree completely. I was about to type, be careful opening that door you can never be certain where or what it leads to. Also, like you said opening yourself up makes it possible for whatever's lingering around to enter you. Yeah, good and evil is probable as it manifests everyday. Everyday someone gets hurt, murdered or phycologiclly damaged but people still want to deny that evil exists. Also, healings, miracles and blessing manifest daily but we just sit in the middle of it all in denile of its existence and open parallel doors instead that could usher in a full mental breakdown or demonic attack however you care to word it. Sometimes it's a simple black and white ideology that concludes to safer and better results like pray to elevate yourself and others, to grow and be a better person. Be part of the good and make people aware that it does exist and when you retain this gift share it, don't lose it by exchanging it for someone else's idea of what enlightenment is. For me Jesus Christ is my atonement and the peace in me that I share with others. I don't push my believes on anyone but I make them known and pray for everyone that is struggling because I know all too well what that's like.

Angels and demons both can say the same exact phrase from the same book with two different meanings. Demons and angels both seek the same things for different reasons. The most destructive lie is mostly solid truth with a subtle twist. Demons emulate angels as much as they possibly can without compromising malice. I think that it makes sense to say, that if I want to know the truth, I'll look for it with a pure heart, with hope, love, and determination. If I want to know someone, I'll find them out for myself. If I want to know someone, I'm not going to let someone else tell me who they are, I'm going to find them out for myself. What matters is that you see someone as they really are. I'm going to find them out for myself, regardless of what people say about them, even if they claim to be close.

Collectively, the meaning of "repent" is to adapt. Repent: intransitive verb. 1 : to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life. 2a : to feel regret or contrition. There are some spacetimes to be completely confident and in control but more often than not learning and positivity comes through humility and digression.
