Big thanks to Infinity Tools for sending me their new TCS-200 Crosscut Sled and the accessory pack of inserts and replacement front fence (TCS-200.CRP sold separately).
I love how easy it was to assemble and get setup on my saw. The precision and accuracy follows the the assembly into the performance as well. It's the perfect size crosscut sled for smaller shops and I will love being able to replace the inserts and front fence once they get used up. Get your own at the link below!

I got mine in today. I’ve been woodworking for many years and never used a sled. I think it will be handy for for accurate repeatable cuts. The main reason I got it is I shaved off the side of my index finger about six months ago and decided I’m getting too comfortable. The only thing I was not impressed with was the instructions or photo for putting the clamp on. It is pretty self explanatory “I think” but the screws that came with it are really too small for the bracket assembly. I can get that taken care of easily enough though. All in all it’s definitely the best looking sled on the market market and with it being CNC machined I think I’ll be pretty happy with it. After I made the first cut I could see how it could be one of those things I regret not doing sooner.

Nice work Nick! That sled looks fantastic. I’ve made a couple but the pain of squaring it up always does my head in. Definitely looking into one of those now. Thanks mate 👊👍

Thanks for the video - it confirmed my take on it. On your first cut, it is easy to see that the flip stop flexes. It does flex enough to prevent repeatable same-sized cuts. The fit of the parts is good. The instructions are not great for both the flip stop and the clamp - One needs to figure it out on his/her own. Mine came chipped (and I bought it to gift it to a new woodworker - so I wasn't happy with that) and one of the threaded metal inserts needed to be re-threaded (8-32). For over $300 - I am not sure it is that great. Oh - and of course - you get the run around when you contact them.

I ordered this after watching your review. The sled is fine, but I'm very disappointed in the toggle clamp and flip stop. I was really looking forward to the toggle clamp for holding small pieces, but I can't seem to get it to adjust to hold down the piece of wood firmly enough (in my opinion). And the flip stop has a little play in it. I'm not sure if this would be a problem or not because you would be pushing in the same direction on multiple pieces, thus taking the slop out. But that toggle clamp! I don't mind paying a premium price for a quality product, but I don't feel very good about this purchase. Can you offer any advice on how your set up the toggle clamp. Any help would be appreciated. I would be nice if I could find an auto adjust clamp for this sled.

I didn’t have any issues with the toggle clamp, it’s a possibility you got a bad clamp though. I did remove the swivel head on the hold down for smaller material and that helps a lot. Any flip stop is going to have slop. I’ve since quit using all flip stops and switched to the Katz Moses stop block. Much better for precision.

@@KeyWoodworks Thanks. I also have the KatzMoses stop block, which I will use as well.

At $279 a pop for the TCS-200 Professional Crosscut Sled this is an easy pass. I'm sure it's nice and all but a weekend woodworker like myself can't justify spending that kind of money for something I can build myself without much effort. It doesn't have all the bells and whistle but it'll work.

A weekend woodworker would benefit greatly from this, since you do not have time or spare material to waste making errors when messing around with a homemade one… It would cost you nearly as much to make it yourself, too. Add your time & hassle, it would probably cost more. Investment in tools is not ever a loss. You gotta understand the reason these things cost money is because they make your life easier and your woodworking more profitable, repeatable, accurate. I bought a lot of shit tools thinking festool cost too much. Festool does not cost too much. The hassle of lesser tools costs too much. I would not recommend you buy just one festool tool and mix it with a bunch of lowes/Home Depot brand bullshit, but the festool system, as a SYSTEM, for this example, makes big box tools look like trash. Same thing this sled does to other sleds, especially homemade, sloppy sleds…

I have the same feelings. I was wondering at what price I would pay for one of these. After some thought I came up with $150 at the most. That would be the absolute highest I would go. It is very difficult to justify buying one when you can make one for much much less. However the convenience and hassle free option might make it worth it.
