This tool is not designed to use flap discs, it is a 3 inch cut off disc, it really is only good for cutting. If you want to use flap discs, you should get a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder. The flap discs are made for 4.5 inch angle grinders and you will have no trouble fitting them then.

@@emmettturner9452 True, you could buy a conversion kit to make it into a band file, or you could just buy a band file and still have a cut off wheel for cutting.

Honestly it did great for what I needed, cut all four u bolts and both brake cables on one battery. I don't own a cordless angle grinder, but we have a bunch of them in the mill where I work and I would prefer the 3 inch cut off wheel for things that are the right size for it to cut. The biggest advantage it has is it does not run the batteries down as fast as the angle grinder. My opinion is as long as I can get a power cord to it, I would use a corded angle grinder or Metabo. If I can't get a power cord to it, then I would choose the 3 inch if what I need to cut is the right size for it, and then the cordless angle grinder as a last resort. The problem with the cordless angle grinders is they have a very short run time on a battery in my experience.

appreciate you taking the time making video, and responding to my question, use corded angle grinders a lot, but also do a lot of- pull it your self part yard, shopping for the right tool in the field. mostly Bosch batteries few dewalt. this tool caught my attention.

I picked this up last year. I love it!

Never had any trouble out of the batteries
