About Simple Little Life:
This channel has sort of turned (inadvertently) into a knife making channel. But the original idea behind what we wanted it to be is this description below:
Videos on our journey to homesteading. With a recent purchase of a little piece of the Alberta prairie, we're looking to sell our nice suburban home in search of a more meaningful life beyond chasing the "American dream" working for some big company and making someone else rich. It's not about the money, it's about getting the most value from the work I do to improving the life of my family.
Some preparedness, DIY, building quality things with your hands, guns, gear, and outdoor exploration.

I think if there is Miss universe contest for tools. These pliers wrench by Knipex especially the 5” and 6” ones would win it hands down. They are super cute as well. And their comfort grip variant are uber- cool

Good viewing, much better then the average tool box show because you explain what the value of the tool is used for, and your tools look used, not like some of those collectors out there that aren't even real mechanics. thanks for sharing.

man I can't tell you how often a cheater bar has saved me. Never really use crescent wrenches but I understand what you mean. I like your setup you have going on. I just started automotive school and I'm building up my tool set. Right now I'm buying tools through Matco, mainly Silver Eagle tools since I get good deals, then I have a lot of snap-on tools and bluepoint tools in my tool box, then craftsman and some mac. whatever gets the job done.

The orange offset is also known as a "Chevy Wrench" because 1) They are orange, like a Chevy block and 2) They were angled as opposed to the straight 90* "Ford" wrenches you use on hydraulics. They were called "Ford" wrenches because they included one in the Model "T" tool kit.

Not even gonna lie, if I'm taking more than 10 steps away from my box it gets locked. I'll lend out whatever I got, but I have to know who has what.
@Simplelittlelife
@Simplelittlelife 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. I worked in a shop once when other would ever get stolen, but everything would get borrowed. Mostly because I had more tools than anyone. But when I bought this big box, the shop I was in was full of heavy duty mechanics who loved their tools and they all had more than me. I was amazed but in 3 years I never had anything stolen, and the only time I actually locked my box was when the overhead doors were being service by a 3rd party or something like that. And anytime they did need to borrow something I had, they dared borrow it until they asked me first. I was absolutely amazed at how it worked out in that shop. Cheers!
