I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more unlikable group of people than the wnba , you lose money every year, you spend your time complaining and your games are unanimously called boring. Then this phenom caitlin comes in brings eyes to your sport, brings money, brings charisma and unquestionable talent. Your first response is to tear her down immediately. They should close the wnba and make them earn it, any other league that loses money like that would close down. No one is stupid enough to keep dumping money on a sinking ship. Caitlin deserves better than being dragged down like that.

Why do you need a green light to go out and be brilliant. These WNBA foolish women do not know these things about Caitlin. 1. She is humble. 2. She loves to get out and play the game she loves so much that she does not get nervous. 3. She is fearless. 4. Best three point shooter ever. 5. These WNBA players that are jealous have never played a game against Caitlin so try and guard her if you can. 6. Caitlin doses not care what you think.

I can't believe that despite hearing all of these negative sentiments from current/former WNBA players, I am still genuinely excited to actually follow CC's career and by proxy her team's as well. She's able to bring someone like myself, a South-East Asian that has never watched the WNBA (let alone US Women's college basketball) to be genuinely interested in this side of the sport. Hopefully the WNBA can stop shooting themselves in the foot long enough for the "CC effect" to start working on the league itself.

The man who made the NBA become more athletic was Dr J. He made the slam dunk an artform and perfected the fast break. The type of incredible shots that the Doctor made, many of them are hard to be duplicated by today's players. And in today's NBA, the Doctor would average almost 40 points a game because you cannot touch anyone. And the Doctor would not have to put up 3 point shots to get those points!

Just some perspective here: The reality is any player (LJ, MJ, or even Dr J) has to prove themselves valuable as a rookie. We forget that these players commenting on Clark are athletes first and foremost, so when they speak of Clark they are speaking from a position of an athlete. Despite what the media and NC fans shouted, the players in the NBA, however, didn't give Jordan his flowers until after year 2 in the NBA.
