Must have tool for small shops Drills holes straight and true. I wanted to know if these really work. So I bought the cheapest drill guide I could find and it was the Milescraft DrillMate. This is great for drilling workbench holes. This also makes the how to install floating shelves like a pro easier. So is this hand drill jig worth the money or not. My calibrated eyeballs need recalibrated and this does the trick

I have a similar one Joe. There not perfect but they have there place. I always thought the angles could have done with a positive stop instead of a twist knob where you can be out by a degree or two. Have a great week in the shop.

It’s handy for when your object is too big for the press I haven’t tried to do a traditional drill press procedure but I am probably going to use 1” Forstner bit to hog out a turkey call today I’ll tell you how it works

You and me both! now we know I may do a follow up video using the base plate and checking the angle functions. I would like to get another one or a few of them and do comparisons. So I’m gonna wait for awhile and see if there is any interest!!

Agree like a lot of things the operator need to work within the limits of what’s capable of
