I did kinda start watching late, so I missed part of FLCL, but oh well... Your description of Mind Game is perfect! And yeah, it is quite satisfying hearing/watching Joseph Joestar react to the fixes he gets himself in! I actually quite enjoyed this prank! I'm curious though how many people lost their shit over subbed anime. Personally, I prefer dubbed, but I found it rather amusing just how far Toonami went with this. That was a fun night! I am a little irritated with some of the ways theme songs were subbed, however... GITS, in particular *singing in Japanese* yep, very useful... lol But, That's not really Toonami's fault, I'm sure, so...

Immediately? Jojo didn't come on until 3 in the morning. I imagine a bunch of people went to sleep during Mind Games. And to the people remaining, you still had to deal with everything being subbed. Course, its an April Fool's joke, so not being able to see the regular line-up should be expected.

Yup, I still remember, waiting every Saturday night thinking it stayed it took the 3rd or 4th Saturday to realize it was only that one day, then the fans helped get it back on the air what a year or so later.

Technically, Toonami itself is a joke. It had a sneak peek of itself as an April Fools Day joke in 2012. That was the day Toonami returned from the abyss that is canceled TV blocks.

Yep, everything after midnight Eastern Time was Japanese dub and English sub. They showed a preview of FLCL Alternative (Fooly Cooly in English), which isn't even out in Japan yet and premieres on Toonami in September. Edit: My bad, FLCL Season 3 is Alternative, not Progressive.

Did anybody watch the movie "Mind Game" last night, I did. It was confusing, strange, and wild. I never saw a movie like that in my life, besides "Memento". It was funny though, like near the ending when they were running on the water like wild animals lol. That water scene was the craziest thing I have ever seen in anime.

The intro almost turned me off because I thought the entire movie/show was going to be like that: a random stream of nonsensical consciousness. Luckily, I realized immediately that it was just an intro and stayed up to watch it to its entirety. It was made by the same guys who animated FLCL, so it all made sense in the end.
