Oh man, I miss Toonami Rising Sun so badly. I remember waking up earlier on Saturdays to get the lawn mowed so I could catch the Garlic Jr. Saga of DBZ.

I was about 18 I miss those days where cartoons were good🥲

When I was a kid I didn't know half of what was going on in DBZ. They aired 3 timelines at once Toonami, Midnight Run and Rising Sun. Then there were the movies that had nothing to do with the actual story line. I think I was around 12 or 13 When the Kid Buu arc finally came to a close. By that time I had seen every episode a few times and the story made a lot more sense.
