I appreciate from the bottom my heart that you took the time out of your day to do this reaction and support the armed services. I had serviced during the 9/11 era and did my time on the streets as well and I did bounce back from it on my own. You find out how many doors are closed when you really need them opened. I salute every single service man and woman active or veteran. The main organization I know of thats legit is the Wounded warrior project. Again thank you and keep up the great work.

the end of the vid where the guy is walking and notices the guy on the ground, he realizes it's someone he served with, and he tries to help him, but the guy I guess tries to fight him off bc he thinks he's trying to hurt him or PTSD or something, but then he says 'you know me. You saved my life ,brother. It's okay' and then they leave together. I interned at a place called Stop Soldier Suicide where veterans and their fam would call us and ask for assistance (med., mh, financial, food, housing, etc.) and we would look up resources for them in their area (we were the only office and so we were getting calls from all across the country)

Army veteran here. In 2010 I was severely wounded in Iraq and came home with loads of issues and struggles. The Wounded Warrior Project was instrumental in helping me on my journey to return to life. They gave me the resources and help that i needed to not only learn how to walk again but how to return to civilian life and cope with my mental and physical injuries. If you are looking for a vet org to donate I highly recommend them. Some of us have scars that don't show and this video sheds light on it and the 22. (avg amount of vets we lose a day). I did 11 years and went over to the gulf many times. My PTSD issues helped destroy my family and rip my entire life to shreds. I literally had to start over from scratch my life in my 30s. I didn't even realize my issues because I thought everybody felt like I did. Thankfully I got help through the DAV and got some counseling. I'm still a mistake away from being homeless, this problem is real. For how long we've been in a war state, this could really effect our future.

I’ve been homeless but thanks to my family putting a roof over my head, Supporting me and turning a blind eye to my episodes. I’m now in school and if I do well. I will make small houses for veterans. The only requirement is you have no where to go and some proof of being a veteran (tattoo, vet ID, VA card). Then you’d get a 1-3 bedroom house as long as you need. I know how hard it is to share your side and all you wanna do is forget. Semper FI and to all veterans, you are not alone. I’m a veteran also. It was kind of a family tradition my grandfathers were both in Vietnam one navy one marine corps. My uncle was in the Air Force and reached the rank of E-9 before being medically discharged when he was diagnosed with cancer. My stepdad was NG and served in Iraq in 05 and 08 before being wounded by a IED and suffering a TBI . I enlisted knowing the risks but wanting to serve my country and I went through basic and AIT in the summer of 2012 finishing in Oct and as soon as I reported to my unit I was given deployment orders for Afghanistan. I left in Jan 13 just five days after my oldest daughter was born. It’s a amazing thing getting to serve and create those bonds nobody else understands. The willingness to lay down your life for the guy next to you that you’ve only known for a few months and knowing they’d do the same for you. I’d do it all over again in a second! All the organizations are legitimate. Someone mentioned Gary Sinise Foundation. Gary played Lt. Dan in Forest Gump. His character loses both legs up to above the knees. His Lt. Dan is like the soldiers in the video angered, frustrated. Lt. Dan wanted to die on the battlefield in Vietnam but Forest saved him. If you know the film, Forest wad looking for his best friend, Bubba. Gary along with his costar, Tom Hanks always supported veterans. 5FDP always doing things for our veterans besides bringing awareness to our veterans. There is another song by 5FDP about our veterans. But this song is about survivor remorse. Song is "Gone Away" Originally song is from another band named Offspring about drug addiction. You will see the difference in versions. Bring Tissues.

I think this is really cool you’re doing this. That’s great you wanna react to something in honor of veterans for Veterans Day. Even before you did this video, I thought it might be cool to see you try reacting to something like this. There’s a song I think you should consider. I don’t know if this is one other people said when you asked about songs for veterans or not, but I think you should do the song “One” by Metallica. It’s based on a movie/book called Johnny Got His Gun which is about a guy who went to war and was a victim of a landmine explosion that took his limbs and most of his senses since it left his face disfigured. He lost his arms, legs, sight, speech, and hearing. So he’s just a living torso and head, he’s tied up to machines in a hospital keeping him alive. Everyone thinks he’s brain dead but he’s actually fully conscious and can’t communicate it with everyone and so he starts losing his mind. It’s pretty messed up. It’s meant to show the horrors of war, and the guy is a war veteran who’s being mistreated. It’s a pretty emotionally raw song, I’d be interested in seeing you react to it. For a lot of channels who react to predominately Hip-Hop, when they start branching out into other genres, this is often one of the first ones they end up doing. I know you said in another video you watched No Life Shaq’s videos because of people who said you do similar reactions. I think that song was like the first non-Hip-Hop song he started with, or at least one of the first ones. But even if you don’t, it’s cool. Once again, that’s really great you’re honoring veterans this way.

I love the passion that the American people have for the Vetrans and serving, it's so sad to say but I honestly don't see that in Britain / UK, I have been a Civillian for 8 years now and its so hard to adapt to the so called normal aspects of life ie running a house working with individuals with no core values etc, I had a saying that was over used when I left the Military " life was so much easier when all you had to do is stay alive". I'm a Vetran of 22 years service in the British Army, I have seen active service in Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan and United Nation peace support operations. It's fair to say I watch this and it hits hard, so many accuracies attached to this video and many more like it. I would like to take this opertunity to thank my amazing Daughter for standing by me and giving me a reason to come home, this young lady grew up with me serving so she has sacrificed and shown selfless commitment for the greater good too, I love you so much and thank you for being you my amazing Daughter. I'm proud to have served my family, country and SOME of the good people within it, I would also like to state that my service was all combat based and I served with heros, my Brothers and Sisters respect to you and I love you all. Nigel.

This is my first time watching one of your videos. I love how your open and honest with your heart. I was in Desert Storm/ shield. Once I left the military I hired in at a correctional center and retired from that. It was hard dealing with vets that were in the institution. I knew first hand what the demons they were dealing with is like. I would make sure to take time and talk with them each day. Even though I wore a badge and they didn’t, some ties go beyond that black and white line.

Reminds me of a story a chaplain once told us; Once there was a soldier at the bottom of a deep dark hole. He cried for help but no one answered. Then an NCO came by and threw him a shovel. He said "dig deep soldier, utilize your training." So the soldier began to dig even deeper as he still cried out for help. Then his CO came by and says "pull yourself up troop, use the tools your NCO gave you." And he throws down a bucket. So the soldier begins to fill the bucket. Then all of a sudden, another soldier just like him heard his cries for help. He jumps down into hole and the first soldier says "what the hell are you doing? Now we're both trapped down here!!!" The 2nd soldier just smiles and says "dont worry brother, I've been down this hole before. I'll show you the way out" Moral of the story is that people suffering in this way need the help of others they can relate to. And for soldiers it's always other soldiers.

From a Vet of the first Gulf War in 1991....Thank you for watching and maybe waking up some people out there to what we go through every single day. I donate to the "Paralyzed Veterans of America". You can donate your time or money to help this organization. You can also donate clothes, shoes, boots, backpacks etc and or any house hold items to help. They will send you an email once a month to let you know when they will be in your area and you simply reply yes to the date and all you have to do is leave a bag or box of your items outside and they will pick them up and make sure they get into the hands of vets that need them. Believe me, everything helps.......God bless you and your family, Sgt. Wolff

I know this is an old reaction video but as a 6 year Army veteran this hits so close to home. When this video came out I was dealing with the struggles of life of losing my family and was a homeless veteran. I think one of the reasons the divorce rate is so high has to do with all the mental health issues most suffer from and readjustment back into the civilian population . I spent over 2 years homeless and fighting to get some kind of normalcy back into my life. I only recently got my first apartment this past Apr. The sacrifices made for this country by my brothers and sisters is so unappreciated by the people that have the power to change it. Stop failing the people that fight for your freedoms and sacrifice everything. Thank You To ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Your sacrifice matters. #MentalHealthIsReal #22ADay #VeteranLivesMatter

first let me thank you as my self i served in the U.S army 14 years and seeing that your reactions and emotions were real,it shows me that there are people like you,and that my service and sacrifice was not for nothing.and people forget there is a price for there freedoms and thank god some of us pay for that freedom and please remember the real hero,s are the guys that did not come home alive.and please remember that you do not have to be wounded to carry the scars of war, when you go to combat you will loose a part of your self you will never get back.and remember also the person you was before combat is dead that person will never be again.and again thank you so much if there was more people like you and called congress and demanded our veterans be taken care of,there would not be homeless veterans i am at this time a homeless veteran going on 10 years now.and like the video says why is the service and sacrifice i gave to the people of this country not, being understood.and please remember us that served together are always brothers until the day we die,and remember guys we always have each other.another thing that people do not realize while you are at home with your family we miss our kids being born there birthdays and all the important days of there lives.that is what we sacrifice to protect peoples freedom.and to all you fellow veterans out there,i understand you and i think of all you veterans every hour of every day

I am not a war veteran, or a veteran at all for that matter. I have been a police officer for 21 years. I frequently deal with homeless veterans. I know first hand how badly they are treated. From the beginning of my career I have done my best to treat those veterans that I come across with dignity and respect. I always tell them how much my family and I appreciate what they have done for us. I do my best to get them help and buy them a hot meal. My two kids were raised to respect them as well. I feel like its the least I can do for them. I know it's not much, but it's my part.
