Sadly Atlantis will never get a live-action remake, due to how underrated it is. Disney is more inclined to its more high-grossing movies like... *sighs* Lion King, or Beauty and the Beast or Dumbo or Mulan or Aladdin. All of which are getting a remake. I would like to see a remake of Atlantis though, but that's wishful thinking.

I don't think Necar Zadegan is suited to play Jasmine, firstly because Jasmine's skin is a bit darker than Necar; secondly, Necar is almost 35 years old, she can't play a princess like Jasmine who's no older than 22-23y.o. at most.

No I Have to dissagree with you on that one Anna looked pretty good But elsa Was Too Heavy set and Her jawline was way wide as Compared to the animated counterpart .....its Funny i Found this Particular Video really Cause I Have For years had the hobby of re casting various Cartoons For Live action Elsa Is Very Slender Pictureing the Dress Change Durring Let it Go She almost seems to have those Nearly Impossible Measurements every girl has lookd to Barbie to posses and the Closest I Can think of would Be Megan Fox Comming in at 5 foot 5 115 lbs and a 34 inch bust ... She fitts the Disney Idea .... allong with Attitude Problem ( Transformers , Jenifers Body , Holliday in the Sun) and Piercing Blue eyes that have been Feartured In allmost every one of her movies All She Needs is a Dye Job for her hair I Think would make a Much Better Choice than the Girl they Hired For Once Upon a Time

There are plenty of Afro-American actresses who would be better fitted to play Tiana. I love me Lupita Nyong'o but Keke Palmer, Aja Naomi King, Shanice Williams, etc. would have been perfect for the role of Tiana. Maybe a little bit more research into Afro-American actresses and you would have found the perfect Tiana.

No, but they could at least be 16-18, and not close to over 30 years old. Most Disney princesses are between 15-19 years old. The princesses behaviors are clearly chidish as they are teenagers. Children know the difference between fairytales and realty. We dont have to change the age. At least not that much. Disneys Pocahontas is 18 years old. She acts and looks it.

MissyAmy88 Most of the newer princesses are 16 years old, sure, but the older ones are all extremely young, I wasn't disagreeing with you just trying to show another side. And children definitely don't know the difference between fairytale and reality, I was afraid to be splashed by water in public for an entire summer because h2o had convinced me that I would acquire a fish tail if I did. There is no such thing as 'Disney Pocahontas' she was a real girl, Disney has never released a statement saying she is any older in the film than she was in actuality, nor have they done so for any of their other adaptations. They should obviously make the girls older in the live action versions especially since the movies have been around for so long that they are loved by people of many different generations. A very good example for a correctly cast princess (a topic I cannot believe I am even debating when I should be studying for a physics exam) is Elle Fanning in Maleficent as Aurora I believe she was about sixteen while filming.

I dont htink they should change the age of the Disney Princesses. They shold be teenagers or at the most 20 years old. In the Disney animations they are between 14-20. Most are around 16. The kids have no problem with the animated films and they will not have a problem with the new versions.

Just because a character has ginger hair doesn't mean she looks like Ariel. Nothing against the actress but Ariel is very youthful in her appearance, wide eyes and cute and the actress to me looks pretty gloomy and mature. I'd much rather them introduce a new star who looks like and sounds like the character than someone who's just a celebrity and has very little similar. Thank god this isn't real.

Seulil P I thought Mulan was just a legend not an actual historical person? Was it not a popular poem in Chinese folklore? There were various female Chinese warriors but Fua Mulan wasn't based on any one person, I believe. Plus, telling the "true" story of Mulan is kind of difficult since there are so many adaptions of the story that appear in various historical texts. You also need to consider the audience for the movie(kids) so putting some of the more darker elements of the story in the movie might scar all the kiddies in the theatre. But who knows, Disney has gotten a little darker with their movies in recent years so, they might consider portraying the original source.

Arden Cho is Korean American and not Chinese. Mulan is Chinese so a Chinese actress should portray that role and Liu Yi Fei is so far the good choice.

Jasmine should be the girl that plays Jasmine in OUAT. I agree that Jamie Chung should be Mulan, but I also see Brenda Song as Mulan. Lucy Hale's is a really good choice for Snow White, but the girl that plays Snow White in OUAT should also be Snow White Dianna Agron I actually like as Cinderella, but isn't there someone else that played her in the live action remake? I also thought Amanda Seyfried was more like Cinderella or Aurora, but not really Rapunzel.
