In Cuba the entire US NAVAL fleet and Soviet one open fire with no due cause. Magneto saves everyone, but is unwilling to let everyone everyone live. Breno Pires EVERY TIME Xavier tells him it will be okay it isn’t. Mutant registration act was too much like Jews being marked... It lead to allowing an invasion of the mansion The “cure” was put into a gun, showing the world still hadn’t learn to trust mutants. Lastly every day the X-Men don’t save the day, Xavier even notes this, they are a day away from being hated. Magneto warned of all this happening.

3:16. At the end of the credits there is an extra scene, showing magneto moving a chess piece slightly, so he still has his ability after being stabbed with a few cyringes of the cure, if mystique only got shot by one cure, she 99% still has her ability, so does rogue by that logic, my theory is that the cure only suppresses the mutant ability for a short while.

I've loved the character for years, but I just now have realised how ridiculous the Magneto power is in terms of scientific reality. To lift a stadium with a magnetic field means that you're necessarily generating electromagnetic fields that exceed what's happening in the Sun. Like, if he's generating an electromagnetic field capable of even overturning police cars through repulsion forces, it'd vaporise the entire city he's in instantly simply because of the sheer quantity of energy needed. It'd be like a thermonuclear bomb going off every time he uses his powers.

@@rdr874 I've seen the X-men movies and the humans didn't start hating mutants until both Magneto and Sebastian Shaw revealed themselves. Then, the humans decided to work on the sentinel program after they've seen what Magneto did in Cuba and it got worse when Mystique killed Bolivar Trask. The sentinels were unleashed after Magneto brought Phoenix (Jean Grey) to Alcatraz where she nuked the whole place. Magneto himself knew he was responsible for the mutant race dying which is why he said, "All those years wasted fighting each other, Charles. To only have a precious few of them back".

@@loudboy317 dude, I think you didn’t understand the main theme of x-men movies properly. Human and mutaunts were never friend there, the hates each other, Charles just believed that one day, human and mutaunts should live happily together, that's never happened, Magnito always wanted to raised war against humans. So Mutaunts could survived and humans could vanish from the earth. He was not wrong in that case. Logically both human and mutaunts cannot survive because they rival, there is one must be survived, charles always stopped war against human and ultimately humans wins for that reason . Because of that they had succeeded to vanished mutaunts by secret war while mutaunts were calm. If they followed Magnito's path and go war against their rival, they could survive ultimately . You should rewatch again to understand the deep theme of x men movies brother.
@loudboy3173 жыл бұрын
@@rdr874 Following Magneto's path is the main reason why the events of both Days of Future Past and Logan happened in the first place. His attempts to commit genocide on humans (both in X2 and Apocalypse) are what led to them creating weapons that could wipe out mutants. First, it was sentinels and now, it's poisonous chemicals put in foods and drinks. Magneto thinks he's helping mutants but in reality, he's endangering them by antagonizing the humans. I know the theme of the x-men movies and Charles pointed out that the only people who think there's a war between humans and mutants are the ones who tried to start one. In the end, there are casualties on both sides so everyone should've followed Charles's path.

Magento is one of my favorite “Super-Heroes” within comics. Sure, he’s done many villainous things; but he’s also helped. His powers are incredible. If Magneto knew that QS was his son, he would’ve not gone down “bad” path.

how old is MAGNETO?? he should be ruling the planet five times over already.

I mean Magneto kind of single handedly destroys Auschwitz in the scene.

X-Men 3 is watchable because of Magneto, Ian McKellen was having so much fun.

Erik and Charles relationship is just Charles trying to get Erik to stop but Erik doesn’t listen.

If I had to pick, destroying Auschwitz in Apocalypse tops all. An emotionally heavy scene showcasing the sheer power of a grieving Magneto.

I don't really class Magneto as a pure villain, but instead a vigilante, a darker hero.

This would have been watchable if the narrator had not been involved in any way, shape or form. A minute and forty-seven seconds in and I'm gone.

Funny that Magneto calls Logan “My dear boy” when Logan is like as old as he is, if not older by that point.

Interesting thing is that Terence Stamp (Zod), Christopher Lee (Count Dooku) and David Hemblen (voice of Magneto in TAS) were considered before McKellen was cast in the first movie.

A Magneto scen I seriously would want to give a Oscar. X3 "Full scene is as follows: Callisto: If you're so proud of being a mutant, where's your mark? Eric Lensherr: I have been marked once, my dear, and let me assure you, [pulls back his sleeve to reveal the Nazi concentration camp serial number tattooed on his arm] Eric Lensherr: no needle shall ever touch my skin again." it gives Me goosebumps. So calm. Like ordering a beer. But the cold in the calm... that Cold would frece Hell over! I love the scen - I hate the scen... it´s soo real.
