"Xavier vs Xavier" has got to be my favorite scene form the series as it can strike a cord with me. Being at the lowest point of your life, and by some miracle being able to talk to your future self and they are everything you ever wish you could be

He's PERFECT as Professor X. In real life both the young and old cast of Professor X and Magneto are best friends in real life.

I love the character of Dr. X, how he is an example of someone who was tormented by their own abnormal traits, and had to go through the fire of learning to control it, but once controlled, it is the very thing that enables him to be ultra powerful, then he uses that power for good, and dedicates himself to leading others through the same path. Amazing.

Professor X is literally immortal, as he can transfer his conciousness to anyone.

When the professor dies in Logan we really felt it. He was a icon of ethicity and courage for a generation.

I think the conversation/chess game between Professor X and Magneto is masterclass writing. You have two titans Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen in a room together and just battling each other with only their wit and will. Their characters want to achieve what’s best for their race but have different ways of going about it and the fact that Charles will be there for Erik and eventually was, proves that they both truly care about each other despite their past battles and drastic ideologies.

OH MY GOODNESS! I totally missed the post credit scene in the movie where Jean disintegrates Professor X! I thought that was a timeline where he was dead and I was so confused with everything in the later movies as nothing seems to fit right! I can't believe I missed something so important.

One of the most chilling moments for me was the chess game. When Magneto alludes to how long will it be before they pass "that" law or something like. It's a reminder to be ever vigilant about what you value in my opinion. Lest the rug be pulled out from under you.

They butchered the Phoenix and turned an ultimate good guy into a bad guy. The Phoenix was not a mutant at all. It was an "entity" that protected the M'Kraan Crystal in the M'Kraan star system. It used Jean Grey's body as a vessel.

Why is it these channels can't get these powers right? Charles was never telekinetic! He was disrupting their minds telepathically. It was a seizure but his attacks were always telepathic.

You state Logan is lost and confused and doesn't remember anything but in DoFP, Kitty warns Logan that when history changes, the only one what will remember is the person who is sent back in time, in this case, Logan himself. Logan at the end of the movie is more gasped at the fact that his mission was a success and the people who died are alive again. Others don't know what happened as if this was a normal everyday scenario. It's only reassuring that Prof. X knows as well because in the new future, young Prof. X had met Logan and kept in mind that the future will be different and waited for Logan to come to realize what happened.
