I love that everyone's power reflects their personalities. Luisa is strong because she wants to be of service, Isabela makes plants because she loves botany, Antonio speaks to animals because he loves them, and Dolores hears sounds because she's inquisitive. Also, Mirabel never received a gift because she is already compassionate and dedicated to helping her loved ones.

I also come from a big family, so I feel like Encanto is loosely based on my life! This is definitely one of those movies that I'll be showing to my future kids!

Honestly if they make a show they could introduce the other lost characters as cousins as we don't know if Abuela had sisters or brothers same with Pedro it could show that they were separated during the war and more Encanto were made around.

My theory is that Mirabel didn't get a gift because the Casita knew that the family was heading in the wrong direction and chose Mirabel to help them and didn't give her a gift because otherwise she wouldn't see the problem as she would be to busy following the expectations of a Madrigal. So on turn by not giving Mirabel a gift technically gave her the gift of empathy, compassion, and understanding. But overall maybe the reason Mirabel didn't get a gift is because......she just didn't. Sometimes there are no explanations for things.

If Disney did a docu series of the Making of Frozen 2, then they should do one for Encanto. Please.

The thing about Bruno's name being changed from Oscar.. well when I heard the title of the song "We don't talk about Bruno" I actually laughed because that made me think about the Pixar film Luca due to the name that Alberto gives to the negative voice in his head that tells you you can't do that. He taught Luca how to be more courageous by saying "Silencio Bruno" Some viewers that Bruno in the world of Luca is actually the name of someone that Alberto doesn't want to talk about. So you can see why at first glance "We Don't Talk About Bruno" would be something Alberto would agree with....at first.

Definitely, my favourite song is Carlos Vives' one. I know Lin-Manuel wrote it, but that song is the most Colombian to me. It reminded me of the 90s when Colombia exported its music throughout Latin America.
