That alternate ending wasn’t a dream sequence, it was a flashback showing Miley as a little girl when she was just dreaming about becoming a singer, showing that dreams can come true. Hence the “12 years ago”...

I remember being younger and finding out JoJo was offered the lead of Hannah Montana however she turned it down bc she wanted to be a serious musician and not be similar to Hilary Duff. I get it looking back on it, bc Disney would’ve controlled jojo’s music and we wouldn’t have had the classics a little too little and get out leave, even doe jojo hated get out

When you think about it, Hannah is a continuation of Lizzie McGuire. Middle schooler, in Italy, discovers that she jas it takes to be a pop star. Both had a goofy brother. Dad was helpful, but Lizzie did have a mom in the house. Both girls had awkward moments.

I LOVED that Vicki Lawrence was her grandma on the show. Mama’s Family was one of my favourite shows, glad to see Mrs. Lawrence was still getting gigs well into her “Twilight” years. (She of course starred in “The Carol Brunett Show” of which Mama’s Family was a spin-off)

I knew Jojo who sings Leave Get Out and Taylor Momsem who played Jenni on Gossip Girl were both contenders for the lead role. I also knew her name was almost Alexis Texas. The only one that surprised me was that Miley was underpaid.
