Savage lee is about lvl 10s drops (I forget longtime since I played) the best all around gun the upkepmt haload. He is also near a fast travel and only bullymogs near by so I would say top 5 easily cause speed of farming and ease of getting as he isn't hard to beat for any character. Not to mention of how low level u get to that area it is near sanctuary I think.

Starting off, too get money faster. Loot every box obviously, but if in a area with loot chests or just rando weapons along with vending machines. Pick everything up an sell it all , keep what you like . I had 6k walking into sanctuary I think at lvl 8-9. Use shift codes, open gun case in sanctuary . Sell weapons. Repeat for all areas

3:07 You can get multiple Good/Bad Touches in a playthrough, but I don't think you can get more than one per load instance, so you have to reload to get extras. As long as the tip jar at Moxxi's lets you tip, you can get one. The only problems I have with them are that they scale with Sanctuary, so if your level is higher than Sanctuary's, either because of grinding or side quests, it'll be underleveled compared to what you can get from mobs and chests, especially later in the campaign, and that getting them later can get very expensive.

The 1340 Shield is also the first shield you can reliably get if you are doing a Vladof Allegiance run. Not really something I would recommend you do on your first playthrough (I don't recommend you do it alone, either) but still a nice random fact worth knowing.

What about the Hornet. You can get that at level 2-5 just by farming Kniuckle dragger and its a legendary!

There are plenty of plain ol' standard-issue greens, even in aftermarket configuration, that work great for the early game. Let's say Lv.10 tops. A Jakobs revolver, a Torgue shotgun, a Maliwan sniper rifle, a Tediore SMG, and a Dahl assault rifle will give you a 5-piece set made up of all different weapon types from different brands. Ideal aftermarket examples are as follows: Jakobs WidowMaker (Torgue barrel), Torgue Hulk (Bandit barrel), Maliwan Corinthian (Jakobs barrel), Tediore Special (Dahl barrel), and Dahl Double Tap (Vladof twin barrel). 4:53 You can regen rockets with any Torgue-barrel "assault" rifle. The Rocketeer works best, fits thematically, and is great for rocket regen on a Vladof allegiance run. Absorb shields become available at Lv.14, so you can start doing rocket regen pretty early. 5:33 Why go through the hassle of relying on that degree of chance (by that, I mean finding a satisfactory E-Tech pistol) when rocket rifles are common? 5:51 The shield is better. 1340 as a sh0tgun would have been better off as a Crowdsourcing. 6:59 The Projectile Diversification (Tediore barrel) is too ordinary, whereas an Absorb shield is always fun thanks to rocket regen. 20% or better absorb chance is typically good enough. 10:30 The Bone Shredder is more like a Double Anarchy than the Lascaux. Also, it's pronounced "las'KO." 10:36 A better way to describe the Double Anarchy is as an "SMG sh0tgun." It unleashes four projectiles at the cost of two ammo per sh0t, always has barrel1 or barrel2, and has base accuracy that maxes out in the low 30s regardless of manufacturer or barrel type. Hyperion doesn't make them because they don't fit their style. Maliwan doesn't make them because the always have an elemental capacitor as an accessory by default. And the reason Double Anarchies can't have elements is because it's an accessory that makes them a Double Anarchy and the only non-modded gun that has two accessories is The Clipper.

Only personal nit-pick is not having the Infinity pistol, but you have covered this at other videos, so fair enough, especially when first play-through players might not have the patience to farm when frankly there's so much to do in the game

My number one best starting gun is the infinity pistol because ammo is kind of a big problem in normal mode also because Zer0 has a really overpowered build with it I did a infinity Zer0 and it was awesome also I think we all want a face reveal

When Puma Talks about the Lascoux he says its like the Double anarchy from BL1 yet the lascoux is more like BL1s bone Shredder. Cause they both have a 2x projectile mult. And high fire rate and are both good earlier on in the game once you first get them. PS. i kinda wish puma would have an honorable Mention section. (but I can understand time restraints.)

I don't know how normal this is but in my playthrough the first time i killed knuckle dragger he dropped a orange(legendary) corrosive dahl pistol, i think it's name was swarm something( something about bees or wasps because it had a burst fire that melted everything)

Good touch and bad touch are one per character per play through and if playing with others the host is who generates the gun so if some one else picks up the gun you lose it but if they let you pick it up and do so on they’re own solo they can get the good and bad touch experimented with some friends on those.

What are your thoughts on The Heartbreaker (especially for Gaige and Close Enough)? It's easy to get, healing, and the extra projectiles are handy.

@VPG you can get level moxxi weapons nearly unlimited amounts of time. just dont take the gun. fasttravel forth and back and then pick up the gun.

The torent is also 1 of the nicest Thing to get en the first playthrough

Also. For the good touch (Maybe bad touch) on Xbox 360, it makes the controller permanently vibrate when holding it in your hands.

I find the dog shotgun is much better as the fremingtons edge. I use the dog sometimes on my shotgun op8 Zero too and with the right parts and build that can be a very Powerful and funny to play shotgun

I got a level 8 unkempth harold from savage lee and I used it during the whole game. It took 10 shots to kill warrior with a level 8 UH. Get an unkempt harold. You won't need any other gun in normal mode.
