There's a pipe bolt-action rifle already upgraded to be a sniper in a house in Concord (take a left at the museum, then it's the last house on the right). Take that and buy the suppressed bolt-action pistol Trudy sells at Drumlin Diner, and you have the perfect early-game stealth sniper weapon.

Technically speaking, the Godfinger isn't oneshotting shit at OP8. It can only kill an enemy who has been precedently slagged by some other form of damage so not only it isn't one shotting, it can't even manage that little on its own. That's the pile of fuck that is BL2's balancement, you either slag or don't play the game... I only do non elemental weapons so I picked the second option. I can play at maximum level on both BL1 and TPS without any issue, which is why I never say a single positive thing about BL2... I play the way I want, you can't expect me to play a game in a way that I consider the polar opposite of fun (ANY element) and enjoy my time on it. Fuck BL2 devs and especially fuck whoever came up with Maliwan as a gun manifacturer in the first place. You're just lame.

Something worth noting about the Gatling laser, there are 3 perks that add crit chance after the weapons crit modifier. They are: Light touch: 5% Set lasers for fun: 2%/4% Laser commander: 10% This means the Gatling laser can have about 20-24% crit chance which is way higher than most other high rate of fire weapons.

For the Critical Fail mission to get the Crit if you’re playing melee krieg and have Release the beast you can use the invuln during the RTB activation to not get downed (Source, have done this)

I equipped every settler with fully moded armour and weapons as a sorta standing uniform in my play through (gave everyone a red vault suit red backpack and flame paint job on full combat armour with a legendary plasma rifle each) an left several suits of power armor sittin everywhere with power cores in them specifically for them to use in attacks (ive even set one up next to most gaurd posts now along with a cpl of dog kennels lol )(the castle and sunshine tidings and half of sanctuary are lookin so awsome) and I've yet to acualy see one moved, let alone used by a settler

I do not recommend getting the master key as a noob. You should get familiar with the game's standard progression rather than just breaking it immediately. You can get the key like a 3rd of the way through the game anyway.

what if he just transferred a copy of his mind into the synth child only to later use that information to come back? like even this could be thought of if the SS decides to destroy the institute, like maybe the synth child is Shaun uploaded into the synth child body only to rebuild the institute long after the SS dies, who knows.

One of the extended napalm flamer carried me from lvl 5 (iron surguswork) to lvl 50. It uses flamer fuel, and bolts go long range with the same flame effect. Glowing sea was a breeze on lvl 10. Never use power armor, yet got +- 40 stacked at sanctuary by now. Same goes for x01 how is it rare? Found already 7 by the time i hit lvl 15

Kellog confirms Shaun is alive and with the Institute, and older than you thought. He's not talking about 10 instead of 1, but 60 instead of 10. The timeline you are skipping because it supports Father being Shaun is that the "child" Kellog lived with in Diamond City was the synth. He wasted time doing that to leave breadcrumbs to the Institute. Father knows people don't like Kellog. Kellog makes people uncomfortable, and his immortality is a problem that needs to be solved, so Father places Kellog in the path between the Sole Survivor and Shaun. This causes a conflict to end Kellog. Or maybe give a reason to deal with Kellog. What happens next is the best intelligence operation of the Institute. The Institute identifies the top challenger to their existence. But the path from cryo to institute is pretty clear. Codsworth remembers, or was programmed to remember, to point the SS to Diamond City and to another robot/synth who then hand holds the SS to the Institute clues. It wasn't some rube goldberg path. It is a single questline from 111 to the Institute, with multiple helpers programmed to help along the way. Codsworth even points you towards the minutemen who are able to build the teleporter. All you have to do is kill Kellog. That's the only "true" hurdle in the way. The rest of the troubles are wasteland and side quests. If you speedrun it, you go to DC, then kill kellog, then institute. There is very little "work" required. Father made it pretty easy to track him down. The timeline of extracting Shaun in 2227 is backed by memories and timelines shared by those inside and outside the Institute. So Shaun would be 60, regardless of whether Father is or isn't Shaun. Also, Father couldn't be a synth, as he has apparently aged normally. And the Institute wouldn't select a synth as leader. So there is no explanation that makes sense which doesn't leave Father as Shaun, even if it isn't verified 10,000 times in different holotapes and terminals.

that synth child aspect of the story bit blew me away, because it suggested that Shaun was 10 years old but later on in the story he turns out to be 60 years old, and when Shaun became the leader of the institute he waited roughly a full decade before he considered releasing the SS, this information is found in a holo tape detailing the info of the synth child via Dr. Lee and her development of the child, she doesn't understand the reasons why Shaun wanted a synth child but created it as he ordered her to do. but the author of this video brings up an interesting thought, if this was your parent, why only leave bread crumbs to get them to the institute on their own when you could just as easily send a courser and relay you there at all? but something accrued to me that the idea that the player being a synth was another experiment of Shaun's and these breadcrumbs to all the SS capabilities suggests that the SS is a synth not to mention many other things talked about in the story in the game. Shaun on the top of CIT ruins after bunker hill, even mentions when he released you that it was an experiment of sorts to release you, he sounded more like a scientist to see what you would do and it seemed he had no empathy for you if you possibly died trying to find him, and at no point were you given a direct path to the institute, it involved you having to figure it out on your own, not to mention why send you to find the very escaped scientist he wanted dead by Kellogg's hand to only figure out how to gain entry inside the institute, it just doesn't match up that you are indeed his father and are human, it all seems intentional to the end for the SS to find him, but he couldn't have known you would be able to find Virgil and that Virgil would even understand the whole molecular relay tech to begin with as he was only Bioscience. so this whole story reeks of another motive, look i know bethesda says the SS isn't a synth, but they often break the lore in their games to the point where it's possible they don't want people to believe this idea, but more and more as i play this game it sounds more than likely this was the story as there are to many things that don't quite match up with the story. it sounds more like the SS is a synth, i mean think about it, they wanted to know where the RR was but couldn't figure it out on their own and the only person who was able to find them and their extended location Ticonderoga, they wouldn't have been able to find this location without you, of course it could be argued they just tracked every location the relay sent you or alternatively it tracked every location in the commonwealth where you went, but what about the intel of the location, the institute couldn't have known unless the chip also could be used to listen in on your conversations, but if that were true, they would know when they were being betrayed by the SS long before you decided to attack them, so that doesn't make sense. i guess it's possible that their tech just isn't that advanced and it only appears that advanced, idk, i'm still working on the theory myself.

More fun weapons to give them (mostly from CC): -Manwell rifles and carbines modded into automatic. -CR-74L in automatic -Quake Thunderbolt. Unlike the Tesla cannon, it has infinite ammo -Legendary weapons farmed with Endless raids. I got two explosive miniguns there, that thing is hot. -Chinese grenade launchers.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for 2nding my opinion on the Plasma Rifle. All my Gate Security & Complex Security have this weapon, with Mid Recon. My settlers have .45 combat rifles with upgraded Leather & Army helmets & Fatigues. My Security & Provisioners have the best Combat & helmet armour with military Fatigues, except, my Provisioners have Molitof grenades & a bright light mining helmet so I can see my Provisioners in the field when I am about killing, well, everything red.
