I found your channel this morning and subscribed as soon as I watched 2 videos. You have a polished and easy to watch style. Both of you have adept analysis while allowing for counter opinions which I find even more helpful. At the time of writing this I have now watched more videos and I also want to comment on the quality production. Keep this up and I foresee a very bright future for your channel. Sure . Of course that it’s not an easy game. But it’s like Ferrari… even if you don’t like it you have to acknowledge that they make one of the best cars in the whole world .

I found 2023 to be one of the most disappointing years for boardgame releases ever. Around October I had about 10 on my list that I was interested in buying. By the end of December they were almost all removed. Evenfall, nucleum (not 2 player), last light, white castle, evacuation (mps), hegemony (not 2 player), kutna horror, Voidfall (set up,and Mps) the only titles that worked for us were Leaf, art society, and old games like Darwin’s journey and lands of galzyr. I also picked up the new Dune game because I like the first one. Three of my worst gaming experiences were in 2023 with ‘the hunt’ (I literally cannot give away this game right now) and Kutná horror. Amalfi Renaissance was also incredibly bad. First 3 rounds go by really quick, then last round of two hours of endless AP, one player making 80 moves in a row, while the other player already finished their turn, and goes to bed. In 40 years of games, I have never experienced anything like that. One of my major accomplishments was actually selling the game for exactly what I paid for it because the person buying from me had no clue how bad it was. The best game of 2023 is one that no one knows about and that is Texas chainsaw massacre slaughterhouse. Amazing production, hilarious and tense gameplay, and only 30 bucks. I’m done with new games costing close to $100 each.

Make your gaming partner set voidfall up with you. We have a buddy who collects all horror games be can get his hands on so well be playing Texas soon I'm sure. As to prices of games, there are days I'm wondering if we will be priced out of the hobby at some point.

It starts by giving you all the rules every class needs and then just breaks down what each class needs to know. It's not that long or hard to follow. The great thing is that the game comes with solid player aids and mini rules for each class that you can hand people like awful homework.

Hey everyone, I know this comment might be off topic but does anyone know a good card shuffler for table top games that won't damage the cards? We suck at shuffling lol, thanks in advance!!

Such a thing does not exist. Your best bet is to do the Magic the Gathering style pile shuffle. No wear or tear on your cards at all and you can do it relatively quickly.
