Seeing Daniel defeating Terry (after what Terry did to Daniel from the past and present) is the most satisfying moment ever in Cobra Kai. This is the definition of "Justice is served" that Terry received.

No doubt about it, in my prefference, johny its the best carácter because with all of those previoua years his bad habits and no trianing on a short time he prooves that his the best fighter above others because his evolution when his turns on serious thing, I think johny is the best

idk about that. some people just enjoy fighting. I used to smile non-stop during competition (football as a kid and later Tang Soo Do and Tae Gun Do) because I truly enjoyed the physical struggle of it. I'm not crazy, but I smiled during fights. and I'm not the only one I know of. frankly, if Terry is insane that makes him much less frightening

Season 5 is the best so far hands down. Great character arcs, great plot, great fights, nothing was drawn out or unnecessary and there was a perfect mix of fighting and talking...loved it.

In my opinion this season kinda lost consistency like 1, 2, and 4 did. I don’t think this season is close to the best but it was still a fun ride.

Terry vs Chozen is easily my favorite. It really had a “main event” feel to it. The music was perfect. The stakes being raised with weapons. Terry going out of character and showing respect to Chozen calling him a warrior and showing he does have honor as I felt he knew he was beaten and wanted to die on the battlefield. The parallel to KK2 where it was now Chozen being told by his opponent to kill him and him making the same decision Daniel made, but it costing him greatly because he momentarily forgot he was fighting a snake. The characterization was just so deep.

I love this show I just wish they would have did it in the early 2000s when everybody was younger. Don't get me wrong the action is great most of the time ,especially the adult fights,but imagine how bad ass this show could have been if all the older characters were 10-15 years younger. It would have been awesome.👍

If you had told me when I watched Karate Kid as a youngster, that there would one day be a team up of Johnny, Chozen and Mike against Silver, it would have blown my mind. Daniel's 3 movie enemies teaming up, love it

All except Kreese. I feel Kreese started to see the error of his ways before Terry screwed him over. At first it seemed like Terry was going to bring balance and it ends up Kreese realizing how he went about things. I hope in some way that Kreese will have a big time redemption in epic proportions.

I would say Daniel defeating silver is at least a number 2 for me. Seeing the kids fight protecting Anthony so the upload can happen was probably my fav just seeing the teamwork from all of them was good.

That was also my favorite scene. I also loved seeing Tori and Sam reconcile. Tory had been trying to fix their feud ever since last season. And to actually see them finally getting along (on the same level as Johnny and Daniel in the early seasons) made me happy. I was so worried about Chozen. When he got stuck by the sword. I thought we had lost him for good. Glad to see he had survived. There are so many amazing scenes in this season (every episode I had loved certain scenes). It's hard to really choose 10 or maybe even 20 scenes from the season. I'm surprised they didn't mention how Amanda and Daniel were introduced by Daniel's old girlfriend from the 3rd movie. I thought that scene was a great tie-in to the movies.

@@ShastaHawk I've been reading the manga Tokyo Revengers online and one of my favorite characters were struck by a sword by a villain in that series and he died (saving everyone with his childhood friend). I had thought we were going to lose Chosen that way cause it seemed like that was going to happen. So when he came out of the car at the end of the episode with everyone else. I was so happy he was still around.

Episode 10 is by far THE BEST episode of the series! Possibly the entire franchise!!!! It had elements from all three movies in it, elements from earlier seasons… and by far the best…. It had all three antagonists from the movies join forces with it feeling organic and not forced! These writers man….. they certainly know what they are doing!

I think Daniel had an bit of an advantage in the final fight due to Terry being worn out by Chozen (who I actually thought was killed at first). Regardless, it was great to see Daniel finally defeat Terry head-to-head. If Season 6 doesn’t happen, I’d say this was a pretty solid ending

Man, Daniel is the only person that fought Silver twice. Daniel’s first fight with Silver was intense and the rematch with was amazing.

Terry's biggest mistake was that he was so focused on targeting Daniel, Chozen and Johnny, that he failed to notice the Miyagi Do kids.

At first I was a bit annoyed that Daniel's story arc seemed to be overtaking other main characters (like Johnny, I mean Cobra Kai was originally supposed to be "his story") BUT I loved the way they brought all the characters together! Seeing Chozen and Johnny bond was so meta!

My thoughts exactly. When I finished watching the season. I had felt it was 'too focused' on Daniel and not enough on Johnny. But I think this season is my favorite of the 5 seasons so far.

I liked it this way because it switched Daniel's and Johnny's personalities for a while. Daniel being obsessive over a rivalry and pushing everyone away and Johnny focusing on family

The show is called Cobra Kai, not Johnny... it really was about bringing back the past of Cobra Kai, and their eventual clash with people from that past... it makes sense.

This show has become my absolute favorite tv series. Every season of this was so damn good. All the characters were great, the level of nostalgia put into this, the fight choreography was awesome, even saw some moves from my martial arts. So thankful for this show.

I don't think people understand how much more powerful Daniel got. Daniel finally found balance, had full support from his family, and overcame his fear. He used Silver's own move that he used on Daniel to hold him down during their first fight. This represent the Cobra Kai side of his newfound style. Then he uses the screaming Eagle that Johnny invented, which represents what Johnmy taught him about Eagle Fang. Then Daniel finishes it off with an iconic Crane Kick, which is symbolic of how far he came. Silver taunted Daniel about the crane crap. Now we see that Silver was so scared that he tried to use a weapon on Daniel, who threw him into the glass just as Miyagi-Do did.

Also the shattering glass of the Cobra Kai logo is very symbolic to show not only Silver's defeat but it also shattered the reputation of Cobra Kai completely.

Best season ever!!! My favs were 1, 2 cause I think it has Karate Kid's essence, but this plot was so well developed and had a dark vibe that made me feel like a Star Wars movie. The last eps was just OMG, perfect!

Did anyone else notice at 13:16 that the way Daniel walked forward after knocking Silver to the ground the first time looked a LOT like how Mr. Miyagi walked forward when _he_ fought Silver in KK3? The rematch looked a LOT like the fight between Miyagi and Silver, and just like when he fought Mr. Miyagi, Silver couldn't land a hit on Daniel in the rematch. It really felt like one of those "student becomes the master" moments

My top 5 fight scenes in season 5 of Cobra Kai are Chozen defeating six senseis, Chozen vs Terry Silver, Miyagi Do vs Cobra Kai at Topeka Dojo, Robby vs Miguel for the third time, and Daniel vs Terry Silver in their second fight.

Season 5 of Cobra Kai is the real deal. I always imagine Terry vs Chozen. Terry won the battle, but he lost the war. Chozen made Terry bleed and the fact that Terry was fighting "Daniel-San" with only one fully functioning leg. Daniel-San proved Terry's fate. It was tough, but man he wanted it more. Chozen versus six senseis was awesome. One thing about being outnumbered is not the size of the army, "the size of a dog." The battle with his students with the eggs is one of the best things ever seen. Chozen's character development is on another level. Can't wait to see more. The flashbacks though 🔥

Should I rewatch season 5? I saw the whole season in 2 days. My favorite fight was Chozen vs Silver and Miguel vs Robby 👊 also the group fight at the end. Protect the egg! Am I the only person that after seeing Johnny beat up all those Senseis at the end believe that he is the absolute best now?.. I originally had chozen 1 and him 2 just cause Johnny is my favorite overall but now idk lol I know it was adrenaline and the thought of not seeing his unborn child but now he's #1 in my opinion

Nope, Chozen and Silver's fight to the death easily takes top spot. This face off literally had me in a fan-gasm. In my opinion this was the best fight in the entire series so far. Gonna be hard to top.

The fact that Mike was able to keep up with Chozen after not training for 30+ years, and Chozen attacking his knee is insane, especially considering that Chozen has trained non stop since 1984, Mike could be the #1 fighter after S6 if he trains

Usually the show's quality goes down as the seasons go by but man Cobra Kai is killing it! Season 5 is easily my favorite and I adore the Johnny-Daniel-Chozen brotherhood that's building

I think the best fight was Terry Silver vs Chozen The music and the setting was so epic and made the fight scene. Seeing Both of their fight styles being used against each other with weapons was just epic.

Haven't watched the new season... just spoiled for myself.. still gonna watch with anticipation For me this is really nostalgic as I was a teen when the original movie came out and seeing the actors bring back these characters is heartwarming.

LETS GO!!!!! Tbh, I don't rank fights as I loved every single moment in this season! and Season 5's the best as it blew previous seasons out of the water. This season felt like Endgame from marvel, but with the karate kid ex villains working together to fight Silver, the thanos of this show.

Classic Cobra Kai season structure of a little slow in the beginning and then the ramp up to some crazy action at the end. Curious to see where things go after this season…would love to see a final season once Kreese is dealt with, where Johnny and Daniel have finally closed the book on all of their old feuds and move on with their families and the students enter one last All-Valley without all the drama to see who is really the best.

I agree with the #1. The final Larusso vs Terry Silver Fight was great. However Kenny vs Hawk should have been on the main list or at least the honorable mentions. Little Kenny has only been training about a year but went toe to toe with the current All Valley Champ Hawk. Come one now!!
