Superman vs. Doomsday in The Death of Superman was great. They REALLY did the villain justice.

Darkseid showing up in Smallville and giving both Kryptonians the fight of their lives was spectacular and chilling. It makes his defeat all the more satisfying. Supergirl and Superman defended their true home.

Batman vs. Shredder from the 2019 TMNT crossover will always be my personal favourite. Such a well choreographed & passionately written fight that defiantly should be on the list!.

Man, DC animated studios is the best when it's about animated fights. Number 1 and brutal as hell, but a fist fight between Batman and Jason Todd was another good artwork.

Superman & Supergirl vs Darkseid - Superman, Batman Apocalypse. What made this fight epic was Superman got taken out early & a majority of it was Supergirl fighting Darkseid alone.

I'd say argue that the Superman vs Superman fight in the recent injustice animated movie is a pretty good honorable mention

The Batman vs Dracula not being on here is criminal.

I remember watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and hoping that their fight would match the energy and intensity of the fight from The Dark Knight Returns Part 2, but I was disappointed. Maybe my hopes were too high, or maybe because TDKR Part 2 was animated and they could do much more because they have fewer limits. But regardless, TDKR Part 2 set the bar so extremely high. One of my favorite parts is when Batman grabs the front rollers from two steamrollers and bashes Superman with them, effectively turning them into a pair of massive boxing gloves.

Batman vs Joker in ROTJ was awesome. Terry was able to dissect and destroy mentally the Joker in a way the first Batman never did. This Batman beat his nemesis in his own game.

So disappointed Batman vs The Mutant Leaser is not included. Its the best hand-to-hand combat animation ever.

Imagine how powerful DCAMU Superman was against DCAMU Doomsday based on the post-Crisis comic book version. Maximum strength = 7 million tons. Maximum durability = Between city-level and Earth-level. Maximum speed = Between Mach 500 and 20 percent of the speed of light.

Still can’t get over how there was no door in the bathroom Batman and Red Hood fought in until Batman made one. With Jason’s body. Also still having a hard time understanding how Doomsday stomped the real Justice League, with Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman, and Superman there. It made sense in the comics when Earth’s last line of defense was Guy Gardner, Booster Gold, and Bloodwynde.

One fight I wish they actually included was Hal Jordan versus sinestro from Green lantern's first flight. After how I got the ring back and sinestro blasted the battery that caused it to become the power and hell actually cracked it just enough so it can actually absorb the power got super overly charged and actually fought in a space battle. Hell got so powerful that he could move two moons and crushed the yellow battery weapon.

What about Black Adam vs Superman and Captain Marvel. I know it was only a 20 minute movie, but still honorable mention

My pick for Batman v Owlman, movie is Ben Affleck vs Patrick Wilson, or Robert Pattinson vs Ross Lynch. Either way, it should be entertaining

Batman the Dark Knight Returns part 1 Round 2 with Mutant leader was my favorite of that movie. Jason Todd fight is 2 Superman Doomsday Superman vs Doomsday is still my favorite.

Bruce gave a cool speech in DKR, but he did, ultimately lose the fight. I'm the comic, Bruce openly admits that he can't actually beat Superman, and that wasn't the point. He wanted to shock Superman back to his senses. In the end, Superman recovers from the kryptonite pretty quickly, and before he can get beat down, Bruce fakes a heart attack, to escape. It's later revealed that Superman knew Bruce was faking, because he could hear his heart beat, but chose to let him go. Bruce's plan worked. He shocked Superman back to his senses, so he could see how the government was manipulating him. Batman didn't beat Superman, he saved him.

Jason Todd is about the only one who made sense during the Red Hood movie. Some powerful scenes in that, but always sided with Jason's way of thinking. Some people are so bad they need to GO.

Honorable mention of Batman and Owlman? It was literally a fight for the existence of all Earths and had probably the best ending line in the DC animated movies. Definitely number. And no mention of Barda and Diana vs the Furies? That was a better fight than pretty much everything on the list.

There were quite a few of those fights I actually watched. I thought you would've included Batman VS Joker Return of the Dark Knight Part 2. "Come on. Finish me! *sigh* It doesn't matter, I still win. I made you lose control, and they'll kill you for it." That nice little moment before Joker snaps his own neck while laughing.

That should not be the number one. Superman is not trying. The final fight again joker should have been number 1. Their talk while they are trying to kill other, the delivery, the music really sells it. It’s a fight to the death that you don’t see in comics often. You realise just how much batman hates himself for letting him live all these years and Joker loves that he has caused so much death and destruction just to torment one man, even in the end he wants to tarnish his reputation because he knows he has won finally. Batman may have seen the light but it’s too late. The joker is so scary in this adaptation.
