Great knives! I like the BGM knives. Great review you covered everything even the sheath. My EDC for the last couple of years has been a TOOR field 2.0 , and it had leather sheath that just would not hold the knife. I lost my knife in the winter, and it took me 3 weeks to find it. I purchased a kydex camouflage sheath with the 2 soft straps , and it carries, wears and works great. Really good EDC so is the TOOR Kingpin , CPM3V, special edition Wildflower sheath, and fairly inexpensive. Thank you for the great reviews ! Have a great day

2023 will be known as a great year for knives....which makes sense, because honestly, 2023 was the year i spent more on knives, than any other year. I dont remember other years where the variety was so rich, what you were getting per dollar increased (except Benchmade), and quality, customer service vastly improved

Those Boatright, Wicket, Terra, knives!!! Extraordinary knives! More EDC Fixie content please! And for some feedback, I prefer either a super thin kydex like the one that comes with the Rockstead Chou or a thin leather sheath. To the knife makers, please include with your lightweight or EDC knives a lightweight and thin sheath. Thank you. And to you Stassa, keep shining mate. You're the best.

On the speed goat paracord wrap you can mix up some clear epoxy paint it on a brush makes it a lot more solid and weather proof similar to micarta if the finish is too rough sand it until u get the desired result

Hope you review the new Civivi fixed blade. Propegator? Something like that. I wanted a fixed blade version of the Spiny Dogfish. It's close enough.

Hey Stassa. For me para cord instead of scales. Para cord is a fabric, it will stink from sweat from your hands, cleaning fish ect. I love para cord for the right application’s. Great top 10 plus the 3 you haven’t tested yet. I love your number pick.

I recommend trying Vanadis 4E or ASP 2060 steel. Once you buy one, you won't want anything else. Why? Because you can split bricks and concrete with it, and the knife will not be damaged and will still be sharp. Such knives are produced in Poland.

Stassa. On your Schwarz knife do you recommend the coating on the blade? I go to the Sierra fishing a lot. But I don’t want a coating if it will ware off. Your thoughts. Thx

You shouldn’t need the coating because Magnacut is highly corrosion resistant but as for the coating after all the testing I’ve done with mine it has held up very very well so I think whatever you choose will be fine 👍🍻🍻

My vote has to go to The Bradford Guardian 3.2 in Magnacut. Just waiting for them to release it with their DLC Finish...🤤🤤🤤

You absolutely cannot beat the Bradford Guardian 3 and 3.5 knives for everyday carry. I wear mine horizontal at 12:00 - 1:00. I have the 3v Guardian 3 w/blk dlc coat (3 of them), and a 3.5 with Magnacut w/blk dlc coat. I also have a Creely Mako (green) with mirror 3v. I love that one, too, but it has a shorter blade.

I own 4 minimalist and the spew and if they weren’t all in junk steel I’d love them but that’s why they cost much less unfortunately but I have been thinking about buying the upgraded one in 154cm that one is very tempting 🍻

I've switched over to fixed blades for my EDC about two years ago. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Fixed blades are so hassle free compared to folders. Fixed blades not only are easier on maintenance, as a whole they are of better quality. Dollar for dollar, fixed blades are made way better. Compare a $50 folder to a $50 fixed blade.

I must be the weirdest knife enthusiast/collector. I hate those acute little sharpening choils the fiber material gets stuck in like the one on that BGM blue knife. I'm ok with finger choils, just not those small, irritating sharpening choils.

Sorry I usually edit them out but I didn’t have the time for this one. I was blown up in a chemical plant explosion which burnt my throat as well as 85% of my body so that is part of the aftermath unfortunately but like I said I usually edit them out

Doesn't that first one fix that description? I get what you mean. I absolutely hate the 3 finger fixed blade thing. It's really dumb honestly. So many cool knives with 3 finger grips. Especially when the blade is longer than the handle.

I have a bunch of larger fixed blade’s however I just don’t carry them as much because they always seem to get caught on everything especially when I sit down but I do carry them when I am out in the woods or when I’m doing some work around the house. My sweet spot is around 7” with a 4” handle because I don’t have large hands. 🍻🍻
