The 2020 NBA playoffs have been nothing like we've ever seen before. There were no fans, there was no home court advantage, and the players arrived in the Orlando bubble after an unprecedented 3-month break from the regular season.
Still, those who think the 2020 playoffs deserve an asterisk - are wrong. Nobody chose this, nobody wanted to be away from their families and tested every day. And most importantly, everybody was in the same boat - which means no team or player gained an advantage.
In these specific conditions, we saw some phenomenal basketball performances, and the emergence of new NBA superstars.

Even though he went out in round one, I feel like Vucevic deserved at least an honourable mention, averaging 28 and 11 against the best defensive team in the nba (Bucks).

as a heat fan I really hope Jimmy feels comfortable at Miami, he's a truly leader and one of the best 4th quarter players I've ever seen, great defense. Man with Bam and Tyler, a potential big signing in Giannis and great role players in D Rob, Crowder, Iguodala... Damn we have something special

Combined they are better, but individually doncic is way better than jokic and slightly better than murray in this year playoff, injury aside, he literally almost average a triple double versus the top perimeter defense team in nba, and almost took down clippers without porzingis

While i agree that kawhi had a lack luster preformance in the playoffs, he still averaged great numbers in the first round and the beginning of the second round. He should be top 10 over people like Donovan Mitchell, who didnt even make it past the first round.

Because Lebron lead his team to the championship and in play offs when it was most important, he was the best. He won finals MVP and played better than Butler in whole play off, not just in finals. Anyway, Butler was my favourite player in these series and he was amazing.

Think Kyle Lowry deserves atleast a mention... Dropped 33-8-6 against a young quick celtics team with a dagger to force a game 7, one of the greatest passes of all time over 7’5 tacko fall for OG’s game winner, sacrificing his 33yr old body for the numerous smart charges he’s taken, and ONE of the greatest floor general’s in the playoffs. Sadly, Siakam was ass and the Raptors were one possession away from the ECF. Also, watching Kawhi lead the offense missing a solid point guard like Kyle Lowry was terrible to watch.

Luka should be higher, the stats were watered, as he missed a game due to a spare ankle where he scored 13, and in another game he only played 28 minutes.

i honestly think jimmy butler was the 2nd best player in the playoffs. i know AD averaged like 28-30 points and was best defensive player in playoffs alone, but dude.. jimmy lead a 5th seed to the finals while only losing 3 games, almost sweeping the 1st seed bucks, sweeping the pacers, and beat the celtics too. he almost averaged a triple double in the finals against the best team in the league and had to put that team on his back against the lakers before and after bam and dragic got injured.

That's what I'm saying man. He out his heart and soul into those playoffs,blood sweat and tears. He left it all out there. I'd say he deserved to win that ring with all of the stuff he did, but onto these next couple of years and see where this extremely talented heat team goes💯

Duncan Robinson??? He shot 43% from three and arguably the best shooter from the bubble. He went undrafted and was a major factor in the finals alongside Jimmy and Bam. Although Herro did well I would chose Duncan over him
