yes she is ... but, I believe, "first" level acting. This lady has simply enjoyed pretending to be someone else all through her childhood, as most of us do. She just went one step forward - to the level where she could pretend to be someone who's an expert at pretending to be somebody else! [that 'Billie' scene is amazing]

Episode 1 season 1scene 1, when she smiled at that little girl in the restaurant and then tipped the ice-cream bowl on her when she walked out - classic. That right there was her character in motion. Perfect intro

I don’t think she’s faking sympathy when she breaks his neck. If anything, it’s the one instance where she seemed to be showing just that. He had just admitted he doesn’t want to live with the after effects of his accident.

ali walsh Like I said, Villanelle is very literal. Gabriel told her “I wish I died in the car with everyone else” and how he doesn’t want to live looking like that. Villanelle thought killing him would put him out of his misery. The “getting Eve’s attention” part was more like an afterthought.

My favorite moment is when she yells “boring” in the museum lol. I also really love when she kills the guy in the red light district in Amsterdam, I thought that was a really interesting scene and I honestly don’t know why. Her scenes with Konstantin’s daughter are really good, too. It was fun to see Villanelle with an annoying child because she gets frustrated super easily lmao

First season episode 2 ("I'll deal with him later!") had an incredibly creepy line that let you know everything about her in just one sentence. A man was begging for his life and asked her why she was doing this and she smiled & merely said "I have absolutely no idea.". Still get chills when I watch that scene.

So happy that ''TAKE ME TO THE HOOOLLEE!'' was number one! The sing-a-long with Konstantine in the car should've got an honorable mention though! With her ''Bored'' monologue, it actually made me feel something for Villanelle. Not to mention it's relatable as hell.

I think the reason why we all love Villanelle is because we can all relate to her in some way. She literally says she wants normal stuff. Cool job and stuff like that. She just makes her money killing people. She has a bubbly and somewhat inviting personality.

Love Killing Eve more than breath! It is amazing, so funny, so clever, and even if I hate myself for it a little, I almost sorta ship her and Eve. Sorta. Not like I expect or even want them to ride off into the sunset together, but there is something so *electrifying* whenever these two share a scene. I cannot tear my eyes away. So excited to hear Mojo is a fan!!

All those moments of V with Irina were some of the best ones. And the way she cries looking at the mirrors in Desperate Times bring out some of the most emotive sides of her. But yes, Billie's bored monologue was one of the best things the second season had to offer. Happy with this list

I watched this when I was in the hospital. One morning I wake up as A few doctors came to check on me. One of them looked just like her. I started laughing my ass off. And then had to explain why I was cracking up. Just seen this. Villanelle is great character and all the movie clips were great. Jodie's switch of moment of character does make Villanelle very charming. Villanelle is definitely a sweet assassin. Villanelle and Jodie normally gets into the heads of her victims. Villanelle knows what buttons to push and press except Eve. Eve is prey she cannot devour so easily.

Off topic, but I was lucky enough to see it ‘cold’, meaning that I knew nothing about this series, which opened with Villanelle talking to a little girl in an ice cream shop. Suffice it to say that when she casually slammed a child’s ice cream parfait onto her clothing, as she left, I was texting my friends with, ‘this is for US!’ Thanks for all of the great memories!❤️

It's hard to pin down Villanelle. She does all these terrible things but is joyful and cheery about them. But she also feels some from of love for Eve so she has emotions barely though.

My favorite moment was when Villanelle tells Inga "You smell of cabbage" right before she bites her in the jugular, and bleeds her out. I was funny and savage. I think it was one of Villanelle's most underrated kills. Plus, it was a poke in the eye to TPTB that it is not so easy to kill Villanelle.

Wait till you see Season 3. I just binged the entire 8 episodes. This series just gets better and better. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Villanelle's outfits. SPOILER ALERT: Her golf course get up is to die for.

I think you may have misinterpreted Villanelle in the scene with Gabriel, the boy in the hospital. You took her attitude toward the boy as apathetic and manipulative, when I saw it as helpful and motivating. The last thing anyone wants is to be pitied and patronized. Villanelle chose to act as she did to help the boy. Before she killed him he even told her that he wished he had died in the crash too. Our Heroine Villanelle kindly put the kid out of his misery. You can say I misinterpeted this as well, but I am happy thinking of her as an anti-hero, rather than a monster.
