What about Carnforth railway station in north Lancashire; where they filmed scenes of 'Brief Encounter' (1945)? They've got a museum in the station which tells all about the film and the life and works of David Lean.

Great list!!!!! I didn't know about some locations. There are other locations that you've missed out and that deserves to be on the list are Alnwick Castle (where films like Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, the first two Harry Potter movies and Transformers: The Last Knight had been filmed) and Kelso Castle (where Tarzan of Greystoke was filmed). Hope that's okay to suggest this; I know you may get these comments a lot. ✌

Infinity war scene with scarlet witch and vision was filmed at the royal mile and Edinburgh train station.Also start of World war z was filmed George square in Glasgow.

I'm from Watford and I didn't know Star Wars was filmed in Cassiobury Park. I know that the cemetery in Eastenders is filmed at Watford Cemetery.

Nice try, but Chatsworth House was very likely nót the model for Pemberly in Pride and Prejudice. Austen describes the house as a ‘celebrated beauty’. And, more importantly, in Austen’s time it didn’t yet have the landscape-garden it is so famous for today. In the 1810’s, Chatsworth still had so-called “Formal gardens”; the style of garden you can see when you visit Versailles. Nice in its own right, but horribly out of fashion in the 1810’s. With Britain being at war with Revolutionary France for decades now, having anything remotely French was a huge no-no for the rich and famous, like owners of stately homes.
