What you described was not iconic, it was a coincidence. You seem to be pretty cocky about your knowledge of the English language.

Neologisms and slang meanings of words and terms are perfectly valid for use, especially in the youtube comment section, 'm not writing my PhD thesis. And even if I was, you're no professor. You inserted yourself where no one asked just so you could let people know that you know the definition of irony. You couldn't even wait for someone to actually use the word ironic incorrectly, that's how eager you were to showcase your superior English language abilities. I have a two part question for you: 1) Why are you so eager to correct others that you don't actually care to think for 5 seconds about whether or not you're even in the right? and 2) Why the fuck do you even care? My grasp on the English language is perfectly adequate in my eyes and if it isn't in your eyes, I don't really care. PS: it's 'inquisition' not 'inqusition'

The Cosby one really hurts. I grew up learning life lessons from Fat Albert and Friends in the ‘70s, then laughing endlessly at “Himself” and “The Cosby Show” in the ‘80s before discovering his brilliantly hysterical comedy albums from the ‘60s. Then we find out that he was secretly a monster the whole time. My heart goes out to all of his victims.

I felt really bad for Winona during all of that. So many people were saying things like that she's so spoiled and greedy to be that rich and still steal things. Obviously it wasn't about money. Some people turn to drugs and alcohol, for her it was shoplifting. Even rich and famous people aren't immune to going through rough times.

She’s gorgeous, insanely talented, and has this quirky appearance about her that I totally love. All I can say is...her performance in Stranger Things is PERFECTION, and she’s definitely one of my idols. Even though the shoplifting happening, she still is one of my heroes and the past is in the past. People make mistakes :)

It was the trail of destruction he left, the lawsuits, the broken promises, the careers he ended, the public insults, the bribing officials, the intimidation campaigns. When the other guys got caught they mostly took their bans and apologised, Armstrong attcked anyone and everyone and that's why when he finally had no way to hide it anymore he's become so hated.

I don't care who the real singers were on the Milli Vanilli album, the actual songs were great dance music and that album sold millions of copies. "Baby Don't Forget My Number" was a #1 hit. The producer who outed Rob and Fab (who were only the "act") shot himself in the foot. He could have sold a million more copies of a second album if he had kept quiet.

But that wasn't necssarily how everyone felt about Bush. It wasn't ok, I'm not calling the band right for saying that. What I'm saying is that a lot of prominent individuals criticized Bush during his presidency, and I'm sure they did it in the public eye. So why were the dixie chix targeted specifically is my question. That's all. Maybe I did miss something.:)

She did not lose her standing with Country fans. In fact she even won an award at the CMAs later in 2003. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill also made anti-Bush comments, yet never fell in the eyes of their fans. The LOCATION of their comments is the only difference.
